@hozier is not just a singer, he is a music writer, lyricist, arranger, etc. who plays several instruments. His concerts are not light entertainment, but pure art. If you don't agree with someone's views, you don't have to insult that person.

His job description isn't anything for us to dictate and you can take any enjoyment from him you please, and choose whether or not to listen to him when he speaks out about issues. He is an advocate for many human rights issues and uses his platform as someone whom many people are listening to for good by speaking up for people without a voice. If he just acted like a court jester and danced and sang for our entertainment like you are suggesting he wouldn't be so loved as he is.
If you don't like you can literally fuck off. Hozier's music is very political and his fanbase is full of kind people who will stick by him for speaking out for justice.
Some of the greatest works of art throughout history are political. You are far removed from reality if you think politics can be kept out of the dimensions of life.
