I'm from Barcelona and in Southern Europe (the mediterranean area mainly) parties are always late. We do what we call "copeo" or "la previa" at someone's place and do drinking games with friends and stuff and then at around 1:30-2 head to the clubs until 5-6.
im brazilian but i live in the US for college and its so weird to me that Americans literally leave parties at 2 whereas in brazil thats the time we go out hahahah europe and brazil just do it better

Yes totally normal to go to club after 1am. Nightclubs open about 11pm but they’re empty till 1ish. People have dinner, pre drink at house party or bar before. Im from Ireland but it’s like this all over Europe and Dubai.

as an italian girl I can tell u that night clubs start at 1 am, music is more fun and there are more people
I live in Argentina and yes, we started drinking at 00 am and then we go out at 2 am, and we return from the party at 6 or 7 am
it is a very european thing to go out super late, it's the same in spain too. most clubs open until 6am so the night doesn't really start until 1/2am
