EPIC new playground & park opens in downtown Winder! 🛝

What started as an idea in the mind of two residents has finally come to fruition as a 5 million dollar, one-of-a-kind playground and community park located only steps away from downtown Winder. 🛝
Winder Legacy Park is now open to the public and welcomes everyone to come play. The park is the product of a two-year-long fundraising effort where private donors pledged their support over five years.

In addition to the school system, City of Winder and Barrow County, the top donors include Akins Ford, Harrison Poultry, Northeast Georgia Health System and Republic Services. All contributors are recognized on a donor wall at the park entrance, which will also be revealed during the opening events.
