Something most people don't know about poor farms is that, during the time they were most predominant, women weren't allowed to own property. A lot of women, and their children, wound up on the county poor farm, if their husband passed away, and they couldn't find someone else to marry, or if their family couldn't or wouldn't take them in. Also, the cemeteries on poor farms were usually called pauper field, and not everyone got a headstone. I think most people only got a headstone if someone in their family paid for it, otherwise, it was likely to be a rudimentary wooden cross, which is quite easily lost. The fact that men and women were kept separate on this one is a rarity, as well. I think there are some places where they were all just thrown in together, which led to a lot of rape and abuse situations.

What does poor farms mean? It looked very wealthy from the outside. I never heard of that! Seems like a lot of trauma in this place. It’s so sad. 😞
I love the detail of history in each video! It makes a huge difference and you’re not just running through an investigation for another video.
When i was a teen we used to drive by there all the time when were out cruising late at night. We always knew something was up with that place. We had talked about sneaking in it somehow to "ghost hunt" but never did. It faded from memory....its pretty awesome to see this pop up and answer the questions that ate up me and my friends up about the place. Too cool, thanks.
Honestly the building pre walk through is awesome learning about the history and the people who try and preserve it.

I love that the tour guide said what she said about asking different questions than what the spirits are used to answering. I gotta imagine they get irritated with the same questions too. It’d be cool to experiment with that more for sure !!

I can't agree more and entities can not always remember their name or cab be confused. It depends what dimensional state they are in. Also...they aren't ever stuck they can come back and visit some are just too confused to move on oŕ need heal past trauma. I hate when they ask the same questions if it was me I'd being saying crazy crap to mess with peeps.
A Spanish donkey was an excruciating medieval torture device and would inflict horrendous pain and suffering on victims…a great video with some unbelievable evidence caught, thanks guys 😊❤
I just looked up what a Spanish Donkey was and it totally broke my heart that there is a chance that whoever is comunicating with them may have been tortured with one and possibly died that way. So sad. 😢

Thank you guys for this episode, I grew up by Ashmore estates as a kid we would go there and walk through the building, one of my friends Chris got hit in head with a flying 2x4 board,we would hear that piano play notes randomly, people running upstairs when we were downstairs and footsteps downstairs when we were upstairs, so many haunted places by Ashmore!! Thanks again for the memories

I hope some light is now shining on the darkest days u were having and getting brighter every day ...I know the feeling suffering from many mental issues along with anxiety D.I.D bipolar and also major depression disorder and 2 forms of ptsd and feb 9th I found my dad passed away it was horrible so I've definitely had some insane dark days and watch all this stuff cause for some reason seeing spirits my entire life I love watching the channels that are actually real and these guys are real for sure along with Paranormal nightmare and twin paranormal they are all 3 amazing groups to watch they definitely help me alot with my mental issues for sure ...they will help you as well if you are into this stuff ..I hope your days get brighter and you feel better with everyday that passes

As *stellar* as your editing and special effects between footage is...for those of us with epilepsy , it's difficult to stay tuned into the story when we have to turn away or most sadly, not watch the video. Gheesh! @@desert_holly I saw when you commented but didn't have time then now I likely never found you 🤣 In a nutshell I live in a house that has 57, 80 and 83 yr old and there's always some kinda drama with sickness, doctors visits, ER visits etc. I'm the 57 yr old. No I take a sleeping pill and sometimes it takes 30 minutes and sometimes 3 hrs so I got knocked out early. I will tonight though for sure. That's why I love this channel, it has me set for the whole evening with it being generally 2.5 to 3 hours. Between the history and ghost hunting it keeps me entertained the whole time. And there's so much to them when you watch again you see or hear something you didn't the 1st time. So that was TMI but I felt rude I didn't answer you before. ❤

The ozborne with jason mewes bought the cadaver dogs because the psychic they bought was 100% accurate and described the location of the bodies. When the cadaver dogs came on location they had 3 consistent hits with 3 different dogs, exactly where the psychic had felt/described blindfolded. Before they removed the blindfold after she did her initial reading.
