oh my gosh!! my hair was originally purple but i put it over blue and its so terrible and patchy, im so glad i found this and im gonna do this now thank you so much! you're so pretty btw!!
You just saved my life I bleached a section of my wig and dyed it but color came out terrible so I see I can bleach over it now lol

I really want to go a dye journey and try new colours but how long should I wait inbetween bleaching? I'm a baldie so I know I can cut it off but I don't want to accidently over-bleach and hurt myself 😅😂 any advice? :)

I ALWAYS have problems with brassiness. No matter the tone I use and the length of time I leave it in. I get so frustrated. The steps that I do are... I mix the bleach and developer, apply it to my hair and cover my hair and leave it for 40 minutes including the time it takes to apply it ( my hair is faded). Rinse, wash and apply toner. Leave in for 10 minutes and wash.

toi jones also which number developer do you use? and try keeping the toner in for longer. it will turn purple on your hair when it’s starting to work
@@danis7064 I use a 40 developer and I leave the toner on for 20-30 minutes... sometimes I'll have a little purple tint if I go upwards to the 30 minute mark, but it fades after a couple of washes.

red is one of the hardest colors to get out
While I was out shopping today. (2-15-2022) I noticed a blk children's book in a store. The title was HAIR LOVE. I picked it up and read a little. The story was about a young black couple maybe in their thirties. With a young daughter about five or six years old. The father was helping his child style her hair. He seemed to be encouraging her to go with an afro type of style. How cute. But at the end of the book there was a depiction of the whole family together. The mother had her hair strait and dyed yellow.
I ask myself two very necessary questions. First why do so many blk women hate their natural African selves that much? Not many will wear nature hair for even 7 days out of the year. Second why would the creator of this book just insist on depicting the mother in this way? Even ending the book in that manner. 👨🏾🤝👨🏼
Yes, but that doesn't mean mom is doing the right things. And of course, she still has to set a good example for her children as a parent.

hi i bleached my hair and use the pink .. but some of my hair is a lighter and darker so it’s patchy looking .. should i bleach it all over again ?
i’m not saying that’s what you should do but that’s what I would do
