- We go four wheeling around our campsite and explore some abandoned gold mines around Oatman, AZ. There are tons of Jeep trails all around the area. Super neat to go off road on some of these super rough roads. 4x4 fun!

Thanks! Bex...Never stop EXPLORING-
Don´t ever stop taking us along on your journeys. Another magnificent view!
This is Kevin & Nugget, we both loved this video SO much!! The mine was incredible, and the editing superb. Also the best time-lapse I have seen on a travel channel, way to go, Bex!!
Thank you so much, Kevin! Hope to hang out with you two soon. ☺️
That hole surrounded by barbed wire looked more like a well than a mine shaft. The green covering the desert is so pretty!
This brings back memories! I lived in Oatman for 10 years, and have been all over those roads, and hiked a lot of that area. Been to all these places!
Brave girls! You can never be sure what's in those old mines. Usually in those old abandoned mines there is (still) gold. When I was in California many years ago, it was fun to find the quartz and then- -what was left of the gold vein.
Jeep should sponsor this ad! Speaks volumes about its capability.
Beautiful footage. Thnx, Bex.
P.S. ♡ th' moosic!
Did I tell you was soooo glad you are back with vids?
Thank you!
Just beautiful! I remember when you said that you don't make videos. You make movies. You really do and they are breathtaking!
The colors here are amazing. I don't know if that color saturation is natural or edited but it is beautiful. The music is fantastic and fits so perfectly also. I loved the little burros frolicking in the distance! Thank you, Bex!
Wow. Another place I wouldn't be able to follow you. Thank you for taking me along! 😊 Bex enjoy!!
Got to see you twice in one day. Earlier I was watching Ausia's (PandaMonium) vid on Free Pancake Day and spied you looking pretty in Purple...and then I returned home this evening with a notification of a new video from you. It's great to see you out and about enjoying life. Love your little movies! Excellent choice in music, too. You're the BEST. Thanks for bringing us along on your adventures.
Wow... I’ve lived in the area my entire life and have NEVER EVER seen it that green! Looks cool that way. Normally yellow and dead
During part of the opening footage I was encouraged that you were taking the Casita over that bumpy road....Oh, it's a Jeep! Smart move leaving the Casita safely camped somewhere!
Glad you are making videos again. Those were some great moments , especially the horizon shots. Thanks for bringing me along.
Yes, so green.
Thanks Bex.
I have never scene so much green vegetation on high desert landscape. Incredible.
That rocky road would vibrate my hip implants loose!! 🌞
Awesome mine shafts. Beautiful sunset
Your the best nomad LADY out there a spend your time with adventure in nature not going up & down the highways and pushing to sell products. That's why when I learn how to order from Amazon I'm going to use your promo code. I'm saving now to buy a full size Chevy van and do a build as my Astro doesn't give me room for a 🐕.
Love your choice in music and the landscape, as always. Impressive night sky too!! Another awesome video. Thank you, Bex!!!
Really enjoyed the video, I'm so glad you are out there making videos again.
Thank you!
Wow it’s very green there. Great colors. Interesting topic. I enjoy visiting old mines in Colorado.
Good to see you back.
Hi Bex thanks for tilling about your sight last night. I'll be keeping an eye out, have fun.
Thank you for another fun Bex video. I wondered if you changed vehicles. Glad you went with a friend, looks like it could be a little dangerous with those mines. My favorite part (there were a few) was the time lapse at the end. How cool to see the evening sky by your Casita. I bought a Casita in December (you are part of my inspiration Bex) and I’m calling her Amelia. She & I start our adventures next month when she comes out of storage & I will be putting in a composting toilet as well. If you ever want to visit the Midwest (Chicago) and plan a trip, I’m game. I love Mammoth Cave for exploring. They have lots of different tours of various lengths & skill level. Welcome back. We missed you. Happy Travels ❤️🌵
Thank you so much! So glad to hear you will soon be out on the road yourself. So much beauty to be discovered on the road! :-)
Bex the Mine Raider!
Isn't it amazing how green the desert can get.
Always so beautiful
Beautiful shot of the stars,,,WOW ! At the end of your vid..
Another Most excellent Bex Video. My favorite part was the very ending. The time lapse stars and moon rise were stunning. You should do more of these it was venderbar ! Keep up your great work. Thanks for Sharing....
Quinton P. Young III thats exactly what I wanted to say.
ya gotta love those Jeeps
Beautiful views...
What a beautiful place. Thanks for sharing Bex
Another incredible journey! Thanks!
Such beautiful landscapes! Really glad you're back with some new videos, missed you! :-)
I'm surprised on how green it looks. I thought maybe you were using a special filter. Very pretty landscape. Needed a Jeep for that road! Whoa! You were much braver than I would have been going in that mine. Those things in the ceiling are called rock bolts. 09:41 breathtaking. 11:23 doesn't even look real, OMG wonderful shot.
Beautiful desert 🌵 landscape. I’d be ever
so leery of entering any cave or mine as wild cats, bear, poisonous snakes and spiders might be snuggled down inside those cool dark places. Also to note might be poisonous gases; remember miners often had a caged canary with them for just such a warning. ☠️
Another great video Bex! The shot of your casita and the end was frame worthy!
Fantastic light and color! Cute dachshund, too.
Another awesome video Bex! I get to see places that I will never visit but if by chance I get in that area I will know what to look for
Glad to see your friends and that you are not totally alone. Fun times
Absolutely beautiful, however those deep mines were scary. I'd love to go exploring way back on those old roads. Thanks for taking us
Kudos on another fantastic adventure Bex!
You are so brave Bex...really enjoy your videos.
Awesome video Bex. I love the high counry of Az. Its so beautiful, I have been here since the end of Nov and have been site seeing in the area. people have no idea how green parts of the desert can be. Yall are brave souls to go into those mines! 😨 Thanks for sharing.
I can't get over how lush & green everything is... They're calling for a super bloom this year 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
I hope so. The blooms are always so beautiful in the desert.
I live 6miles away just outside the canyon. Still can't find ALL-THE-MINES !!
The beautiful desert ....you captured it so well!
Yeah Bex!! Beautiful desert scenery and time lapse ending. I LOL everytime uttered an "oh shit" LOL sorry but you crack me up✌💕
Loved your video. As a geologists I would have to have gone with you. Thanks Bex!
Thank you for these videos.
Hi Bex ,your haven fun that's what its all about,I have did a lot of prospecting in AZ that's fun too later Ike
Really love your perspective on life 😺💜😺💜😺💜
In my younger years I explored a lot of Northern California gold rush mines. My biggest pet peeve is when people throw rocks down shafts, winze, and ore shoots without first giving a verbal warning. You have no idea if there is someone else down there exploring, possible came in an adit you can't see. Throwing a 20 pound rock down there with no warning you could kill someone.
That's a really good point. I will make sure to yell and let others know too. Personally, I'm not really into throwing rocks anywhere. :-)
Exactly, when Bex said the adit went under the road towards the mountain I'm thinking another party comes by and drops a "boys will be boys" rock down just as they come to an airshaft - boom!
Bravo! another excellent video, Bex.
Great video. So glad to see you back....
Thanks!
Love the star's at the end ! Cool Video
Bex! 😍
GREAT!!!
Looks like a mine that Jeff Williams has filmed his gold show from. Wish I was there with my gold bug 2. I love your video's, tell that guy to stop throwing boulders down that mine shaft! That could have hit me in the head. LOL That wash area is perfect for a metal detector. Your pretty gutsy to go in that mine. Beautifully done Bex. Have a good one.
Thanks!
Amazing video! That was really cool. Thanks.
Great video. Beautiful surroundings.
Thank you, Ms. Bex, for another excellent adventure! Spectacular time lapse of the stars and sky at the end. Music is so befitting
Thank you!
Wow
Loved the video! Thanks.
Fabulous videography as usual Bex. Need to go there when I head out west again.
Thank you so much for sharing your video's with us.
Great work😎
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing this video with us! Lovely scenery!
It is very beautiful up there.
Nice video but the Cave was scary. Glad you both made it out okay.
It's nice to see you out and about again . Love watching your videos. ; )
Thanks!
Love it!
Lucky y’all didn’t encounter any wild creatures hiding away in those cool tunnels. I didn’t notice anyone packing 🐻, 🐍, or ⛰ 🦁 spray nor a weapon. In my humble opinion
I’d want both forms of protection along with
a large flare or lantern that could adequately brighten up the path one’s venturing down. Don’t want to fall down a sudden opening,
get trapped, injured or just plan darn lost in there.🦉
Awesome video, Bex!
Thanks, Jimmy!!
Awesome Video Bex
Nice and interesting video Bex, great job!
Thanks!
Great video doing some exploring I would love to do! I was just wondering if you ever see rattlesnakes in those mines? My biggest fear is snakes!
Great video! Looks like a fun and interesting time! 😊 --Mark
It was very fun!
Those roads were rough thank goodness you hitched a ride in that Jeep.
You definitely need an off-road vehicle up there! :-)
hi heres a little fyi I seen in your videos you did not have any level jacks under your back bumper and on my little 13 foot trailer I never put them either but my first night in the back at the bed and there was a big boom and my whole trailer flipped on to its rear bumper and water from the sink spilled all over me LOL.
and by the way you have great videos
Great opening! Followed by a terrific vid. Do you use a gimbal? The image stabilization in the jeep was amazing and I just can't imagine any camera's internal stabilization could handle that. Can you share what gimbal you're using? Thanks much!
No gimbal. I was just trying my hardest to hold it as steady as possible. A couple of times it when we hit a really good bump, the camera or selfie stick hit the dash or windshield. 😀
I'm impressed both by your camera's image stabilization and your arm's! You do such nice work, Bex.
The footsteps sound like someone eating potato chips, ha ha. Cool places to see. Must have been very hard labor.
Why did you have to mention potato chips, I'm on a low carb diet and haven't had chips for a week and a half. Dog gone it your rite their foot steps do sound like crunching chips .
I was waiting for someone to yell ouch when they threw the rock in the hole :)
LOL
It's not really funny throwing rocks down shafts with no verbal warning. They had no idea if there is someone down there exploring a lower level. That rock he threw could kill someone.
a proper mine explorer would have been wearing a hard hat and therefor unharmed. :)
Very green! Beautiful area! Don't go in the mine!
Ha ha, too late! :-0
I knew you couldn’t resist!!😀
Hi Bex Where do I find the banjo music on your video?
I have a subscription to Epidemic Sound. That song was called Appalachian Trail 1 .
Where do we find redundant Internet music? For videos
Mr. Claustrophobia here, you wouldn’t catch alive in one of those things!
They were pretty big mines! :-)
Wow, you find all the cool places.. Your video's are made very well.
I know I would be a blubbering idiot trying to do what you do.
But I am kind of disappointed at some of your music choices in the last few..
The music doesn't do your video's justice, is all I am saying..
It does take practice to talk in front of a camera. I'm still practicing.
U lookin 4 gold when your in there ? ****💶💲💲💲💲💲💲
Get a metal detector 🤪
So green and beautiful. I'm putting that on my to go list. aaahhhhh Beautiful sunset and night time lapse. Breathtaking. 💚
It's a super fun place. I would go back for sure!
