Never thought this song is the source of Paul Van Dyk’s Nothing but you. But having hearing it now, it makes so much sense. Both this and Paul’s Nothing but you are a masterpiece.
So the first part of the vocals in "Nothing but you" which is without lyrics, only "mmmmmm" is made originally by Paul, but the rest is taken from this song? Since that part is not here, I'm assuming Paul added that in his song.
if somebody knows please comment!! Ive been searching a bit but i cant seem to find any info about it.... how come kym marsh sings in norweigan when she is from britain? Does the norweigan lyrics sound bad in norweigan peoples ears, or is it the real deal? Why norweigan? so many questions ;p
The only issue I have with PVD's Nothing But You is, the kick drum sounds distorted, it comes over really badly if you are playing it in a club with a big sound system. You can filter the bass to almost zero but it still sounds like you have it far too high.
I gotta say Paul van Dyk really made some improvements, he got the track really smooth...

I came at this completely backwards: beginning with the Cirrus remix, back from that to Paul Van Dyk, and finally here to the source.
Me too thanks NFSU2 :)

Vocals were sung by Kym Marsh, who was part of pop group Hear'Say and is now an actress in Coronation Street.

Classic trance
WoW I learned so much. I understand now that Paul just took the best parts and took out the parts that sucked and produced a minimalist work of art.
Awesome
Thank you for the upload!

Whats the original song called? The one where the vocals are taken from?
@@fijiarc2090 this song here is the original, Paul used the vocals here in his song "Nothing but you"
Anyone have the remix stems of this track? Pleaseeeee
I came from NFS UG2

I'm also wondering why it's sung in Norwegian. It's not perfect diction. I can hear she's not a native speaker, but it's pretty damn close.
Les Hemstock is from Norway, so maybe that's why :)

Paul van Dyk - Nothing But You (Hemstock and Jennings' Arctic Remix)
This is the original, and way better than pvds version
Paul van Dyk's version much better than this
