Wow Keith..this looks so appetising.. we're in Portugal at the moment..and we'll be having this later..a chicken version..thanks for the inspiration.. 💐👍xx
Hearty food indeed Keith! That’s what you want on a cold night!! You fooled us Keith “nice & convenient” the “nice & simple” is old hat ….. 😂 keep up the good work mar mate ….. Smithy
'Boogie with Stu' G'day Keith and Nat. That's how it's done mate. A lovely hearty warming beef stew. You can't buy homemade quality, so might as well make it yourself from scratch. I'm sure you both were well fed and satisfied. Being on the Black Forest Gateau. The only thing I would add is a couple of Bay leaves. Otherwise everything's spot on. Tip: The brown stuff that catches on the pot bottom is called Fonde. It's what you deglaze to make stock or gravy with. But you already know that part. Invest in a pair of Kitchen Tweezers, 20 - 30cm. They come in handy. Also double as a pair of crude chopsticks. Cheers to you 👍🤤😀
Nice stew, but you forgot the potatoes! Always have potatoes in a stew, also maybe next time you could add the parsley to the dumplings mix to make Herby dumplings, they're wonderful.
Atora suet is extortionate in price now. I have found tescos own brand a lot cheaper and just as good. Most supermarkets seem to have their own brands. Atora is 3 x more expensive than it was a couple of years ago!! Hope you and Nat are OK in this cold weather xx
Hi keith next time put potatoes in your stew and put your dumpling in i hope you are going to portion the rest up and freeze it .keith what you like i really thought you had made a cake .that cake looks so nice . Thafs it keith make somemeat pies please in your airfryer oven love to you and nat love fran xxxx
for the dumplings was it really worth the suet cost £2.70 for 200g but you used a 1/4 so cost of it was is 67p. but you can get ready made dumpling mix for 49p in B&M etc. which just needs water added. when you mad the cake you put it in the plastic tray. that may gave it away that it came from a shop. you would never make her think you made it.
Your back the real old food guy 😄all these dickheads commenting on your cheats I know you from old and you need to do more of this, I love it good job I never stopped following like they told me to 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 great one Keith better than some of your previous ones 😜😜😜😜
