I highly disagree. Clearly the most efficient one is a bathymeter. How anyone can think anything else gives me a lot of angry. I am going to smash something now.
Metric units are objectively superior to imperial in pretty much everything. Fahrenheit is objectively better than Celsius when it comes to weather reporting.
I feel tribalism is appropriate here and declare all Fahrenheit supporters as the enemy. It makes no sense and has arbitrary values. Even it’s history is arbitrary. “This is how hot my wife is. This is how cold I can make something”. Done.
@@benavide2003 Fahrenheit is more intuitive and easy to wrap your head around, 0 is really cold and 100 is really hot. Going beyond those marks on either side means you're in danger territory, generally speaking. Celsius' range is between -25 to 35, there are massive jumps between degrees. The only argument in favor of it is that "the rest of the world uses it" which is an appeal to popularity. Fahrenheit for weather temperature might have been "arbitrary" or an accident, but it's still objectively more useful for measuring air temperature for easy human reference.
if convenience is a viable arguement then you are nearly objectively wrong, because ceslius is more common but fahrenheit is more commonly intuitive because it is scaled to comfortable human body temperature, not the boiling point of water at sea level, however the most scientifically relavent system is kelvin, which i argue, is the only correct answer to this question if kelvin is a valid answer

Perfect description of growing to love Red Letter Media: start with gateway classic and move onto mainlining the hard stuff.
Catan has been banned at my game nights since someone shouted "I have wood and I need a sheep!"
6:36 Dinosaurs Attack cards?? Nice one, Grey
I love the new thumbnails for these videos!
How does Redlettermedia still not have a million? Been watching that channel since the Dudebors.
Now It Does Check!
How often do you get superlative question? And oh..
What your favorite superlative question?
My new favorite is "On a scale from 1-10, what is your favorite color of the alphabet?"
Fahrenheit- measuring human temperature celcius- measuring chemical/food temperature Kelvin- measuring atom temperature
Hey Grey, thanks for baring yourself about some of your failures. Easily the most inspiring things are when creators you look up to share their hardships, it's sort of like they're reaching out and saying "see? It's never THAT easy. But I came out the other end and you can too" Thanks man.
Moved to Hawaii... to save money...

I'm broken. I'm just broken. There's nothing in that statement that even resembles making sense in the real world.

save money by living with family, he meant. also Londons not cheap either.
@@lrdxgm My condolences
@@labrador_dali You tell me about it :)) ? Prices around here are NUTS and 1 SINGLE PERSON WOULD NEED MORE THAN 50 YEARS to buy a decent home (starting from nothing) of 100 m square living space for a price of just 60.000 euros .
When i found out that at the SUBURBS of london,a room the size of a shed (or what's called the thing where you hold the jars with jems and other things that need to stay cool but not the frige ?) basicly 2m long / 1 m wide pus PERPENDICULAR to the house, can pass as a ROOM,I WAS SHOCKED.
The holeway to my (mom's) appartment is bigger :O :| :| :| .
Oh,did i menitoned the 1 MILLION Euros minimum price for a house in London (don't think you find less) :O ? IT'S NUTS.
I found this channel stumbling around years ago. I only subscribed because he had the name grey. It was my favorite color. And that the simple story of me.
Your Q & A videos always managed to be entertaining and more importantly charming. How do you do that? I guess what I'm saying is I'm a fan and keep up the good work ♥
1:18 Wait, that guy is wearing a C.G.P. Grey T-Shirt
Yeah, it's CGP grey.
Edit : allegedly.
Jack is a CGPGrey fan? Who knew?
@@danielantonsson1429 It's not him. You can google Greys face if you want to be disapointed.
@@TheGoukaruma That's pretty harsh. He's not particularly ugly. He's actually rather average looking. Not like Brady, who is hard as nails, posh like cushions, and handsome af.
@@wclark3196 I think they meant "disappointed to find out that that person is not Grey" and not "disappointed at his face".
In the Red letter media clip you showed they are wearing a CGP t shirt that is fantastic
Oooohhhhh... Now you've done it CGP Grey...
It's ON!!!
Celsius is better!
Begone with your arcane unit of temperature!!
:P
Can you go out side at 69° and say "nice" without dying with Celsius? Didnt think so.

I highly disagree. Clearly the most efficient one is a bathymeter. How anyone can think anything else gives me a lot of angry. I am going to smash something now.

@@Trucmuchthe question is a joke
color is the american spelling of colour
Fahrenheit?
*Gasps in International System of Units (SI)*
_Say it ain’t so!_
Metric units are objectively superior to imperial in pretty much everything.
Fahrenheit is objectively better than Celsius when it comes to weather reporting.
>say it ain’t so
I will not go
Turn the lights off
Carry me home
I feel tribalism is appropriate here and declare all Fahrenheit supporters as the enemy. It makes no sense and has arbitrary values. Even it’s history is arbitrary. “This is how hot my wife is. This is how cold I can make something”. Done.
@@loonachan how?
@@benavide2003 Fahrenheit is more intuitive and easy to wrap your head around, 0 is really cold and 100 is really hot. Going beyond those marks on either side means you're in danger territory, generally speaking. Celsius' range is between -25 to 35, there are massive jumps between degrees. The only argument in favor of it is that "the rest of the world uses it" which is an appeal to popularity.
Fahrenheit for weather temperature might have been "arbitrary" or an accident, but it's still objectively more useful for measuring air temperature for easy human reference.
CESLIUS IS SUPERIOR IT IS USED ACROSS THE WORLD IT IS MORE CONVENIENT IT IS BETTER
This is a semi-satire comment
Kelvin.
Réaumur
Y'all are sleeping in Rankine...
what is this ceslsius you are talking about? I use the warmness scale
if convenience is a viable arguement then you are nearly objectively wrong, because ceslius is more common but fahrenheit is more commonly intuitive because it is scaled to comfortable human body temperature, not the boiling point of water at sea level, however the most scientifically relavent system is kelvin, which i argue, is the only correct answer to this question if kelvin is a valid answer

Steam doesn't time shame, it's a badge of honor that you've convinced me to play 84 hours of Euro Truck Simulator 2 (and counting). lol
It depends on the game, there are a handful of pretty terrible games that I definitely feel shame when I see how much time I've spent playing
Eric D 84 hours? That’s barely any time
It's not that you regret the time spend on games but the time not spend on gains.
