So glad I found your channel. I haven’t been out West in about 40 years. I have family in Utah and finally my husband and I are planning a 2 week vacation for next year. Wanting to start at the Grand Canyon up to Utah also Wyoming and Colorado . Now to watch all your videos to see what we need to see. My husband hasn’t been far from the Texas/La borders.
Have fun and good luck on your trip. Here's the link to our Grand Canyon playlist if you want to make sure you've watched them all. ruclips.net/p/PLbhuXgSSAbWak4jVYzkmISjTBIEmHuQej
Love your videos. Grand Canyon is great. My latest visit was back in 2013. On that occasion my daughter and I went to a condor talk, and the condors decided to stun everyone, including the ranger who gave the talk. 9 condors at the same time gave us a great fligh show.
Las Vegas 2016 mid july it was 115°F and let me tell ya from an old guy from ohio...... I don't care how dry it is it's still to darn hot!!! Baker California was 119°F a couple days later, Brutal!!
I just want to let you guys know uou helped me so much on planning my trip to grand Teton and yellowstone NP past summer. I am now planning to see grand canyon next spring and guess who I go to? your clip is so easy to understand and all sorts of information is essential for a female solo traveler like me. thank you.
You said the bison were unwanted there but yet the bison was the only one wearing a mask at El Tovar. Thanks for the video as I plan on being there this fall camping in Mather.
12:42...Nice dip!..(tho right above those rocks might not be the safest place to do it)😎 14:57...I remember scuba diving in Puget Sound during the summer of 1986 with a wetsuit. The water was 48F (8.89 C) degrees. Though the air temp was not anywhere near 115F (46.11C) degrees. 20:25..."Visitors today say 'pictures don't do it justice'. People back then (early tourists) say 'words don't do it justice'" Now THAT'S deep! So today's visual tourists would agree with "a picture is worth 1000 words." And the early "overdescribing" verbal tourists would perhaps agree with "1000 words is worth a picture."
Both. There are plenty of points. But Mather is quite popular for both. By the way, did you know I’m almost finished making a guide? Check our website. Will be up soon. Have a step by step plan for visiting it
