So happy to hear Lacy is doing so much better! There is power in the prayers of 3,000+ People. We will continue praying and believing on her complete healing.
Great workshop and lovely working conditions for all concerned, I would just love to see it in operation one day - That is one mega expensive precision grinder but you need it with all the knives you go through in short order! I do so hope Lacey has had one of her better days to-day after the recent run of awful bad days, my thoughts ad prayers are with you all.
Should look into a rotary screw compressor. They can run 100% duty cycle for hours on end plus they are extremely quite. Another thing to look into is a volume tank for the air so when multiple people are using large amounts of air there is a reserve. Nice shop in the end.
That shop is HUGE!! Very nice. Very clean and organized. I thought you might be in hospital when you first started the video!!!! Wow,!! that shop is beautiful !!
Wow! That shop keeps getting more amazing all the time! I thought it was great last time I stopped by but you have done even more. Beautiful! Go Cooks!
Hi: I did noe ask for the tour, but your father-in-law has got a great shop for his employees and himself. To me it looks like he put a lot of thought into the rebuild. It looks like it s layed out well. Thank you for sharing. Also we are still praying for your Lacy.
Great video John! What a shop!! Now, about Lacey, we want updates...doesn't have to be every day but just throw in a report on your videos here and there. We feel like family and want to know how our "sister" is doing! Will keep praying for you guys!
nice looking shop you guys have! Mike did a really good job on expanding it. the first thing I noticed was the lighting, you just can't have enough in a shop.
Well I'm not gonna lie John, I like that shop. You called it right, having a good place to work on the machinery is ultra handy. I won't ask about the ford, I suspect others have already asked for me. I will say though, that I hope it gets ironed out soon for you so you can have your comfortable truck back. Thanks for sharing the tour with us, I know I've been curious for a great while. Keep on Rollin' brother. Stay strong!
Hi from Inverness, Scotland. That is an incredible work shop. I work in the quarrying industry and we have nothing that comes even close to that building!!! Take care, stay safe and keep rolling.
A great place to work, very impressed. They do keep it clean. When we turned the corner by the bosses' 4 wheeler I thought that was a pickup truck box on the floor. No, it was the radiator for the V12. HaHaHa About the same size. Thanks TCG. KIT doug
Mike certainly did that one up right, I didn't even notice the ford until minute 13 or so and you know it's a big shop when the oil dry comes on a pallet. Over by the buncher filters, I saw red piping going into the floor against the outside wall. Is that outdoor boiler connections to floor heat? If so, you should be able to attract some mighty fine wrench spinners to work in that Vegas style work shop. Wow at every turn in there, seriously done good. The heart of any operation is the shop where all the broke stuff winds up, this one is so spectacular it leaves little excuses left for a mechanic to offer when something is not fixed right away.
Great video and a palace for a shop. You must have a shop foreman that insists on everything in its place. Keep him forever. Haha. Two things I noticed, There's nothing in the shop. So that means it's either ready to go or being used, and two, you said there was a PM scheduled for the chipper and all the parts were ready to go. Impressive.
Nice shop BUT if you're going to fix stuff right, you gotta' have one. And with the amount of stuff you're running, can't do without it. Thanks John and Blessings yall!
cottontop 3 promoted you so I am so signing up with you. I worked on the cnr railway as a truck driver and last ten years heavy equipment operator on overseas containers. I loved my work on the big equipment the best and man you sure have a great setup for your shop.
very nice shop. very well done. I have been in shops for 30 years, and this is the nicest one. The last two have been Billion dollar operations. yours is still nicer. It is easy to tell you guys care about your operation. Of course the ford is in the shop, where else would it be. HaHa sorry john could not resist.
Most large sawmills have a couple of full time blade sharpeners, that old slasher bade in one of their hands could bring it back like new. Wouldn't hurt to ask if they could take it in and fix at their convenience.
John.... Who made the totes for the chipper knives? We used to use wooden ones. They didn't hold up too good as we were always having to make some new ones. Your sharpener looks like the one we had. It was a little shorter though. Overall a very nice shop. Always a good thing to have a good shop to work in. Do yall have mechanics on the payroll or do you wrench all yourself?
looking good , i built a 28 x 32 was thinking for my little 1 & 1/2 acre lot it be big enough now i need 1 that size of your guys workshop all other stuff i have for what i need but room i was told long time ago to figure out what size barn to make than double it . that's so true now but the township i live in won't let me have more storage along with my 2 & 111/2 car garage plus a 1 car garage. they told me I'd have to cut house down in size i agreed on it ..........but WIFE not so much. haha haha ha true story. stay safe, have fun
Very nice shop John, the lighting is awesome, I have worked in poorly lit shops and must say that one is well lit. very clean and tide as well. Where do you keep the extra 7/8" wrenches??? lol. Typical Ford almost always in the shop lol.
John what a shop WOW just beautiful!!!And you guys do keep it clean,You wanna learn about a buisness owner start buy looking at there shop,Just dam great A1.
Nice shop! A guy could get a nice tan in there with all the lights. I had to pause the video to get my sunglasses. Thumbs up for the lighting and the in floor heat.
Now is there a separate building that houses all the parts for the Ferd? J/K Very nice shop. The thing I noticed the most is the lighting. It's so much nicer to work on stuff when you can see it.
We have a shop like that here in Greensboro called Carolina cat and the only real difference is that instead of having the parts in bins there in organize file drawers.
FEI-forestry yes we have in floor heat using a wood master 5500 outdoor boiler to heat with. The shop is 120x80 well insulated and heats very easy. It's great to always have a dry floor when you bring in trucks and trailers packed with snow and ice it always makes a mess, but now the floor stays dry and warm. Thanks Paul, Mike
Dang!! that's crazy!!! with that much goin on do u have a dedicated straight truck for fuel? I can imagine fuelin anything up could use up more then a small fuel tank pretty quick
Awesome shop, that'll make a lot of wrench heads drool (such as my self). Maybe see if you can get a video of some of the equipment getting work on in it sometime
I think I noticed you are missing the entire side marker assembly on your truck, LoL? Hey, very beautiful shop, nicely laid out etc. I'm still new here, didn't even knew you had a shop, but it would figure with the amount of equipment you have and the destructive nature of your business.
Is that a shop? or a bed and breakfast for big rigs and equipment???
lol I like that!!! thanks for watching!!
So happy to hear Lacy is doing so much better! There is power in the prayers of 3,000+ People. We will continue praying and believing on her complete healing.
+J.L. Landscaping and property maintenance Awesome!! She is feeling so much better...Prayer works.
Very impressive shop...well designed...set up to handle any maintenance and repair needed on equipment...well done Mike

Thanks for Watching Steven!!
awesome shop , i use to build and repair Rads of all sizes like the one your working on , great job thanks !
Hi from Inverness, Scotland. That is an incredible work shop.
I work in the quarrying industry and we have nothing that comes even close to that building!!!

Thats some workshop right there John ! Nice when it's set out for the job you do rather than having to make do with some covered space.
Yes Mike did a great job with it. Thanks for Watching!

real nice shop great set up they keep it nice and clean.
That Ford looks like a permanent fixture in that shop. A well working outfit NEEDS a good shop and I see those bases are covered.
We have a shop like that here in Greensboro called Carolina cat and the only real difference is that instead of having the parts in bins there in organize file drawers.
That's a nicely laid out workshop, as tidy as mine albeit six times bigger! How many mechanics are there?
another addition exhaust ports for the diesel smoke to go out side for your safety
yes awesome lighting. Do you have radiant floor heating I didn't notice

I think I noticed you are missing the entire side marker assembly on your truck, LoL? Hey, very beautiful shop, nicely laid out etc. I'm still new here, didn't even knew you had a shop, but it would figure with the amount of equipment you have and the destructive nature of your business.
