MMX Z-Saber was just a slim bladed Saber, the Triangle blade the results of Technology advancement that let it able to shape out a Solid Plasma Edge made out of Energy. It's also why the Z-Saber is able to change forms into Shield Boomerang, Triple Rod, Chain Rod and Recoil Rod (yes, those weapons are all just Z-Saber's alternate forms). Funny enough the Design team failed to tell the Gameplay team about this so Zero's Z-Saber during MMZ1 and MMZ2 wasn't a Triangle Shaped Blade.

After being awakened the first time, and finding himself in a new body, he fought with X to end the Elf Wars and stop Omega. He intended to seal himself forever the 2nd time so that the "blood-stained history" will not repeat because of him. He believed that as long as he existed, there would never be peace.
2:44 - 3:20: Zero said similar things to a dying Craft after defeating him inside Ragnarok's control room in MMZ4, I didn't realized it until I watched this traslation once again... although being affected by his "hibernation sickness" (as referred by Ciel in MMZ1) Zero could retain the memories about that promise he made to his best friend, for more than a hundred years after that. Impressive...!
I think that by the point of Zero 4 he already had most of his memories back hence why he could rephrase his exact promise to X, Ciel and Cervau do say in Zero 1 that his memories will come back with time.

Yes,before his body was kept sealed for research of the virus but the Elf War began and they let Zero out of his chamber to help X fought alongside then as you can see here. After they defeated Omega and ended the war, his own body was brought back to the chamber to be sealed away to prevent anymore harm.

In megaman Series ,for reploids exist two Worlds Normal world or phisic world and Ciber space here goes all the reploid who dies and cant transform into a ciber elf or any ciber elf who doesnt have more energy (They never die the only lost his body but his data live forever in ciber space) For example Hidden Phantom he die un Megaman Zero 1 but he can found here in Megaman Zero 3 and he knows there the original X and his true porpuse has a Guardian

The first Megaman Zero game then goes out of its way to say it has been over 100 years since Zero has been around.

Why turn into a cyber elf, an entity that is said to DIE after using it's power? this is a touching scene but it seems rather pointless to have X die, when Sigma and even Zero have jumped from body to body. It´s kinda unfair that Zero gets to live while X doesn't. Any specific reason X did not get another body after using his own as a seal fo the dark elf?
Cyber Elf X was also using part of his power to keep the Dark Elf asleep, we see in Zero 2 how he tries to keep the Dark Elf from being awakened by the presence of her children, also X wanted to rest from all the fighting by that point.

@TayoEXE So, let me get this straight. It was after the first sealing that Weil unsealed him, created Omega, and resealed him? 1) Sealed himself. 2) Weil unseals him and creates Omega, then seals him back. 3) X unseals him to stop Omega, then seals him back.

For those wondering, Command mission takes place in a what if time line, Basically if the events that lead to Mega Man Zero never happened.
So they say, doe if Capcom wanted, it also easily could be a sort of prequel to the elf wars. Taking place in the same century but still being years if not decades apart.
Y'know with branching timelines like the Battle Network series, I'm not surprised if this was indeed an alternate timeline in the same century.
Since Inti Creates changed the time line of Zero Series(100 years after the X series to more than 100 years after), things might change differently.
@@장준현-i9p the only timeline change I found was X8 not taking place in 22XX and being in 21XX like most of the X series. Other than that they never said Zero series take place in 23XX
@@zettovii1367 not really though? X5 - 8 timeline has Axl, while X5 - Zero timeline only ever see Axl in biometal form until ZXA, which is how many hundred years that is combined.
