Enjoyed the footage you are so right it is pretty intense being right there & seeing what you actually have to do. Just stay safe you & everyone helping. Take care you all! And see you on your video Sunday! I'm excited!🍂🍁❤🦬🦣🙏✝️ 🇺🇲🕊
Wow! The brute strength of these Bison is incredible! It is definitely an all hands on deck job. Love the video! Stay safe. Keeping all of you in my prayers 💕
OMG, how scary, but so exciting to see you working the bison. Starting watching your videos a few weeks ago & now I'm trying to catch up. Love the GoPro & please stay safe
Great videos man! I’ve found you a couple days ago. I’m here in Afghanistan on my second deployment and enjoying watching your videos in my free time. Keep it up!!
Corey, as the daughter of a Battle of the Bulge WWII Veteran, THANK YOU for your Service. You and your fellow members of our Military are who keep the USA the Land of the free. Blessings on you.
Excited to see a new upload!!! Wow, I really like the chest camera! The footage of that first bison trying to get out from the view of the chest camera was really intense. WOW.
Hi Dustin love watching your videos. This video was filmed great. People don't realize what you go through to keep the animals healthy. Brings back memories of my childhood. Our house was between 2 fields. They ran the horses n cattle down an alley above our house n across the street we lived on into the other field. Sometimes the cows would break loose n come down the street or sidewalk right in front of our house. As kids we loved it. So I understand what you were showing in this video. Thank you for sharing this experience!
I enjoyed both types of video you showed. The GoPro was certainly way more intense!!! 😳 Honestly, I would watch any and all videos you put out. The bison are fascinating and very powerful animals to watch! Thank you for another amazing video!! Please keep them coming!!!
Learning how to operate this same model squeeze chute for AZ bison! Thanks for the demo; really demonstrates how different bison are than cattle going into this and how to use the crash gate
Beautiful bison, great video.. Thank you for helping their population and strengthening the herd. You're doing some good work out there. I suggest you angle up your body cam 1-2 degrees for better overall view coverage. Thanks
My goodness me I think you are amazing to do that single handed! The auto one is easy, but that’s for future, so enjoy growing to more advanced equipment! You did very well & proud of your ability, with love from South Africa ❤️❤️❤️
i love a combination for a city boy who feels he was born a generation too late (my mom grew up on a farm with cattle and everything) watching your videos is like living the dream
Good job Dusty I'm glad you got the rest of them bison work that was a little crazy I know it was really crazy from your point of view I like the GoPro shot up close and personal don't beat yourself up too much it's learn as you go and I think you're doing a great job I'm glad you got all are bison work this spring y'all be safe and I hope the baby's doing good
That was one of the most intense videos I've ever seen! Great Go Pro footage, I really liked it. I enjoyed how you showed both the Go Pro and the further away to show the overall scene. I vote for future videos like this. If I were there I am sure I would have two busted arms. That looks very dangerous!
Amazing! You learned something each time. I had not realized how strong they were until today. You have a passion for this. Glad you have willing helpers. Enjoyed your video.
I liked seeing the process with the GoPro, Dusty remember, the first time never goes smoothly but you got it done and nobody got hurt. You will find your confidence in time, as will everyone else, thanks for sharing this. I am learning a lot from you, so thank you. Be safe, God bless you and your little family
Definitely both, especially when you're working them. As others have said, you can really get a feel for how powerful the bison are with the up close footage. But, if it were all video from three feet away it would be claustrophobic and wildly frenetic at the same time!
O.K. You had my heart thumping!!!! I know Bisons are big and powerful animals, but dang!!!!! I thought for sure the first on was going to get out. I like both cameras. Thank you for sharing your adventure. I was scared ! Be careful and stay safe. Many blessing on you and your family.
Dusti, I can't imagine how scary that must have been to be there. As a first timer working the system, you were great. I don't know if you watch Our Wyoming Life, but they just received new equipment that is probably similar to what you need.
Thanks for sharing this scary, awesome video. I like the go pro shots because they were more intense but I like the long shots as you can see more of what's going on. Maybe a combo of the two because it is the best of both views. I have to say kudos to you. I would have shit my pants many times on this experience. They are such majestic animals. Thanks Dusty.
Well Dusty, you wanted to learn and you did!! It is amazing how strong Bison can be if you put them somewhere they do NOT want to be! It is amazing what you can do !!! I like watching the GoPro view !!! Doc makes it look easy, but he has been doing it forever !!
Whooopie ! You had some good assistants there = I liked the Go-Pro in both places...someday I hope to maybe get to see them grazing out in the pastures....
Hello to Cross Timbers Bison , its nice to 👂 from you again. I 🙏 that you and your lovely 👪 be 👌 from that virus. I hope the bison he alright. God Blessed You .😊😊😊
Wow! Having the go pro almost made me feel I was right there!! I dont envy you while you work n learn ur bison.. .you did an awesome job even if it was rough at times! Thanks for sharing n may God bless you n your family! Be safe!
Nothing wrong with learning, great footage. Definitely V-scissor headgate, and we done away with parallel axis squeeze 30 yrs ago, V squeeze 10 inches at bottom, all that is required, much better for bison, good luck while learning keep on one step at a time
That is terrifying 😳😳!! I’m sitting on the couch with a glass of wine & my heart is racing like I was there!!! The GoPro footage really shows the power they have......very cool & I love the care & respect you give them!!!
Boy I was so tense during that lol. The closer up sure gets into the action. I think I like both ways personally. It was a good video. Great job Dusty.
Good job mate! Greetings from New Zealand. First time is always rough - as you get more confident, it'll feed through to your beasts, and they'll be calmer also, so it'll be a win/win situation. Not that they'll ever wander through like dairy cattle, but, it'll get easier. 2 years time, you're going to look back on this footage and think "Yup" :-)
Not gonna lie here, I was extremely scared for all you guys. I appreciate what you are doing here and I love your content. I like the GoPro footage because it was so up close and personal.
Well, that sure got my heart to pumping! I really liked the combination of the up close & distant footage. That up close made me feel like I was right there in the thick of things. Great video! You did great for your first time. It will get easier as you go along. Blessings, Love & Hugs from Vicki in Ft. Worth, Texas 🇨🇱🇺🇸👍❤️🤠🙏
Liked both views; up close and from a distance. I would suggest some dry runs with one of the helpers as the buffalo going through each section of the shute. This way they get to see it from the inside, much as your animals would. Everyone gets a job, one person giving commands, each person repeats what his orders are and when completed state that they are done. Then move on to the next portion of the shute. Less confusion and less chance for mistakes. Watching the bison is extremely interesting. It will get easier over time.
Praying you can get the head gate upgraded before your next round of care! In the meantime, stay safe around them, stay cautious like you were in this video.
It really showed all the raw power of these beasts. How dangerous it really is working them. Thank you and the first time is always the worst. Stay safe x
Your bison love their freedom. They are magnificent animals and their fierce independence is heartwarming. For all of the mistreatment that they suffered, may they forever be cherished now and let them never be tamed.Thank you for the video :).
12:15 I wonder if putting something up so they can't see out the shoot will help prevent them from trying to break out thrue them bars in front it seems that there seeing a exit so there trying get out because i noticed when they can't see anything in front of them like a wall they are more calm so once you get them locked down you can remove that blinder and you can work the animal.
That is some organized chaos right there! Honestly, I enjoy both camera views. The up close view sure shows how "violent" the process can be. Enjoyed the video, great work!
You will get it! Soon you will be doing it without much thought. However I'm with you I hate that head gate! Stay safe and we are all learning with you! Thank you for keeping it real.
Wow, that was amazing how you work those dutankas aka ( buffalo ) I am 48 percent native American an my grandmother would be very proud of you for raising one of the most beautiful animals the lord put on this earth. I think that this just don't put stress on the animals but for you guys too. Yes I have ate bison a few times it is a very lean meat. I have just became a new subscriber an will continue to watch your videos. Thank you for showing your herd ❤
Enjoyed your video; especially where your GoPro was placed. I'm from a cattle ranch. We had a set-up similar to yours for branding, cutting, and doctoring. Let me recognize that Cattle are different to handle than Buffalo. Just a suggestion: Run it like a production line. Have one person responsible / function. Someone to load them into the chase, another to close the gate behind them, another to squeeze them, ... even so far as a person to load the syringes (we had guns), give a particular shot and someone else to worm them. Also, someone responsible to open the gate. I hope this gives you some ideas. You'll get the kinks worked out. I think you're doing a great job. You seem to have a lot of patience. We had 360 cows plus their calves and it was hard, fun, rewarding work. I wish you and your family the best.
Fantastic ! My Goodness Gracious ! So INTENSE ! We don’t get to do that kinda stuff in California 💕. Great job ! Good filming. At first a bit dizzy, but once you stopped walking around, Thumbs up 👍
Liked the go pro, it makes it really live for me, and a better for reality. It makes like your there. But you get a good job, for your first hands on. You really do need all the help you can get. Bravo 👍 love your video's. Stay safe
Well that was intense!!!! Lol. I love watching the videos. I have 2 brothers who live in Moore OK. I’ve spent some time out there. I’ve been in a few tornados too. I enjoy seeing the land and the weather. You should be so proud of what u r doing. The bison are great to watch. They r so majestic. Good luck with the ponderosa. I bought an Eleanor t shirt today. She’s the best Thank you for the hours of enjoyment and all that I have learned. Blessings to your family and you !!!! I’m still trying to figure out how to watch full videos on u tube on tv. Instead of my phone. Take care.
Up close is cool but made me a bit motion sick! Good to see some of the bigger picture too. Was cool to see the same situation from different camera angles.
They dont like them working stations i guess if i think about it it would scare me to The older man must of worked alot of animals in his lifetime he seem to know I love watching and learning about them so i would watch any video you put on here Dont beat yourself up to much Lesson learned Stay safe God bless
I really enjoyed the up close and personal. Last time it was hard to see past all the people. God Bless you and your family. P.S. I thought Dakota was gentle and always came up to you for alfalfa pellets.
Liked all the videos, some were even terrifying. The strength of these animals and then there is the gentleness when they eat the cubes from your hands. My background is critical care nursing. We have "mock codes" in the hospital to practice for uncontrolled situations. The more the team practices, the more they become comfortable in critical situations. The same goes for your team. Practice makes perfect, and perhaps the animals will become more accustomed and less stressed when they have more experience going through the gauntlet! Love your program and all the people and animals. You have a great family and your programs are so informative.
I ate bison pot roast once. It was very good! So keep up the good work of taking such good care of them while they are alive. Great creatures......the calves are delightful. Keep safe, animals and people and good luck in your endeavors.
Having both perspectives was good. Wonder if once you get head in place if you covered their eyes it would calm them down some. It works with horses and cows. Stay Safe God Bless and Peace Be With You All ☮️🙏❣️
A recipe for disaster. Too many people shouting instructions. The guy who makes the final release should be giving the instructions and should get an ok confirmation from all the helpers that the various corral gates are in their proper locations and locked. Sort of like performing a rock blasting operation. Count down and push the button. I agree on that squeeze gate.
It would appear that you need to rehearse what you want to have happen BEFORE the animal comes in. There were too many people giving instructions, some of them not very accurate. Know what each lever does so you aren't finding out with the animal present.
Couple words of advice. When u work em designate one job person (which u obviously did). Less talking. Only should be hearing Dusty's voice cause they are comfortable with him. Put sheeting or rubber belting on inside of crash gate and just leave a 2ft x 1ft opening in the front. That'll slow em down into the crash gate. Also close up openings in squeeze at bison eye level. That will calm them up better. Also get a scissor head gate.works wayyyy better. You have a good set up and you did great!!! When those magnificent beasts are confined all they should see is in the direction you want them to go. I work mine that way and it works for me. Love your herd, keep up the great work!
The only way you're going to learn is to do it. Yes it was scary but you're dealing with a very large animal that is not tame. I think you did a great job Dusty and I liked the go pro it keeps it real and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Fantastic video enjoyed it so much, glad everyone walked away in one piece lol. I agree on the neck piece it definitely needs to be different and something needs to be added to keep their heads from coming through. Your boot can only do so much kiddo. You dont need to apologize, your vet has years of experience under his belt, you're just starting out. You did great and very proud of you and everyone who helped. Until next time take care, stay safe and healthy. Best always Rusty
I prefer this way then the other way. I got to see more via the go pro then having the camera set somewhere. Amazing video and very educational as well.
I made the mistake of having a cup of coffee before viewing. Mistake, that close up was exciting. Got my heart jumping and wasn't even there. You did a great job.
You did fine, its a learning experience and everyone lived. Thank God. She is looking much better.
Wow, what power! Those Bison are so strong and beautiful. Thank's for sharing, and may God bless you.
the close up really showed how dangerous the process is you the workers . enjoyed the footage
OMG, how scary, but so exciting to see you working the bison. Starting watching your videos a few weeks ago & now I'm trying to catch up. Love the GoPro & please stay safe

Thank you for your service. Stay safe over there. Hope you’re home soon. Love & Hugs, Vicki.
Corey, as the daughter of a Battle of the Bulge WWII Veteran, THANK YOU for your Service. You and your fellow members of our Military are who keep the USA the Land of the free. Blessings on you.
Greetings from North Carolina. Your videos randomly showed up on my feed and now I am addicted.
Multiple camera angles is great. It’s nice to see up close and also everything else going on in the area. Keep up the great work.
Liked the view up close. As long as it's not bothering you. Thank you so much for sharing. Stay safe and God bless you and your family.
Excited to see a new upload!!! Wow, I really like the chest camera! The footage of that first bison trying to get out from the view of the chest camera was really intense. WOW.
I like both angle. You really showed us how dangerous that process can be. Thanks for sharing Dusty.

You edited this so well it was seamless between the cameras. It was nerve wracking for sure. Thought they would fly right out of the shute!
Wow! I loved both types of footage. The power of the animal really comes through. Thanks for sharing this with us all.
Really enjoyed the up close. Shows what y'all really go through. I did like the other shots at a distance to show what everyone was doing.

I think both angles are great to watch.
👍. Well done.... I was nervous for you 🤗... showing both cameras is great.
Boy I was so tense during that lol. The closer up sure gets into the action. I think I like both ways personally. It was a good video. Great job Dusty.
Love the Bison! They're such beautiful, majestic animals. Loved the footage from multiple views. Keep up the good work! Bison is delicious 😉
Thank you very much!

Dusty that was intense video!! But I enjoyed the footage at that angle. Thank you for sharing that. Tonia😃
This was awesome to see! Continue to learn, grow, and be careful...God bless.
Powerful animals, thanks for the close personal look.
Not gonna lie here, I was extremely scared for all you guys. I appreciate what you are doing here and I love your content. I like the GoPro footage because it was so up close and personal.
It was exciting! I know it was a little scary, too! Fun to watch. It will easier with the more you do. Love it!
I am so glad you have a bison channel. Thanks for sharing. Just take care.🙂🙂🙂🙂👍🏼👍🏼💙🌟

All I can say is WOW. Great video glad all of you and the animals turned out ok
I really like the go pro...I was on the end of my seat the whole time.
Praying you can get the head gate upgraded before your next round of care! In the meantime, stay safe around them, stay cautious like you were in this video.
So interesting! WOW! Saw the first one...now this one.... what a job!
really shows the power of these animals, on the job training isn't easy but you are doing very good.
You did great . Like the up close photos.
Well that was intense! I like the go pro view up close and personal!
Love the close up videos. Brilliant work, thank you so very very much.
Excellent, constructive comments. Gives you the specifics you need.
Fantastic ! My Goodness Gracious ! So INTENSE ! We don’t get to do that kinda stuff in California 💕. Great job ! Good filming. At first a bit dizzy, but once you stopped walking around, Thumbs up 👍
WOW, you had your hands full! I'm so thankful no one got hurt.

Go Pro for sure. It had my heart racing and exciting to watch
I just realized I spent the whole day watching your videos!
Up close is cool but made me a bit motion sick! Good to see some of the bigger picture too. Was cool to see the same situation from different camera angles.
SO THRILLING TO WATCH DUSTY...LOVE IT
I like the close up - you can get a good view of the animal and what you are doing to them!
I liked the "go pro" plus the tripod camera. It was exciting.
Good job guys keep up the good work thanks for Sharing. Awesome footage from the gopro Dusty.
They dont like them working stations i guess if i think about it it would scare me to
The older man must of worked alot of animals in his lifetime he seem to know
I love watching and learning about them so i would watch any video you put on here
Dont beat yourself up to much
Lesson learned
Stay safe
God bless
Yes very nerve wrecking watching online, I can just imagine the rush it must be to be there real time. Glad all went good for you and your bison.
Great video!!! Thank you for showing us.
I work on a new headgate but I like what you’re doing
Good stuff, enjoyed it!!
I like the close up it was nice to your perspective and the seriousness love your job.
I really enjoyed the up close and personal. Last time it was hard to see past all the people. God Bless you and your family.
P.S. I thought Dakota was gentle and always came up to you for alfalfa pellets.
Wow, ditto what everyone has said. Love your videos. The go pro was intense the wide angle gives good overall perspective. I enjoyed the mix.
Great video Dusty you did a really good job trying to do that by yourself I like the videos both ways

Haha! Thank you
WOW that was making me nervous 😬! Great video.
Loved the GoPro footage up close!
