I bought 4 of the TM Lewin shirts while on vacation in London back in 2010. I found them to be pretty good for the price and they lasted a long time. The only criticism I had were the barrel cuffs were a tad to big. I took them to a tailor and then they fitted perfectly. I recently bought a couple of shirts from Hawes & Curtis and so far I'm very impressed and happy with them.
This was a very old video so sorry for the quality! Unfortunately my experience was really subpar. For a similar price I got a much higher quality shirt from Spier and Mackay for example. I can also make custom shirts with Lanieri for a great cost, or Apposta MTM which is my go to brand.
@@MisiuAcademy Fair points. I've come to discover that T.M. Lewin are no longer in business. I live in Canada and have bought many items from Spier and Mackay and agree that their products are generally well made using premium garments. I will definitely check out Lanieri and Apposta MTM, so thanks for that tip. Looking forward to seeing more videos from your channel. Cheers.
I personally like the looks of the twill weave of those. The texture looks nice to me. It does look a bit hotter and heavier of a material though. I totally agree with the sleeve width and cuff opening being too wide. It didn't seem to fit with the rest of the slim fit of the shirt. I wear a lot of Charles Tyrwhitt and curious how you would compare those two. Thanks for the video Kostas.
MB Shoedoc I have one shirt from Tyrwhitt and while it’s not high end it felt a little better than this. The cuffs baffled me. I would prefer a double button cuff to adjust it.
I had a few issues with the audio and some lost footage, so apologies! But I am slowly getting the hang of it. If you want to jump straight to the dad joke (I warned you it is bad!): 6:05
Hello, thanks for watching even though this is a very old video! It’s very hard to say it depends what middle budget is. Charles Tyrwhitt is better than TM Lewin in my opinion. I would also look At Spier and McKay and Suitsupply’s traveler shirts!

I guess you get what you pay for. But you can get a bespoke shirt in Taipei for 25-35 pounds that are decent quality and good fabric.
Andrew Lin correct, but I didn’t expect it to feel that bad or different

Thanks
