I mean, Joel just said that his character in season 1 died from sadness after finding his Empire destroyed. But it's Joel we're talking about. He's most definately the same guy from Season 1. Just taking things more seriously in terms of Lore. Since I feel like he realized that denying the Lore was what caused the destruction of his Empires. And doesn't want to admit such a thing so just lied.
I don’t think Joel obtained godhood I think that after his palace was destroyed he became obsessed with leaving a legacy he started building his magnum opus a statue just like his citizens but bigger stronger and more powerful he based the designs off of myths like Zeus because he was inspired by his wife who was kinda a goddess also he took inspiration from famous Greek sculptures He is the Joel from season 1 but he is not a god like he claims he is It would be ironic because it would make him making fun of Jimmy for being a toy hypocritical I also think the reason Joel targets Jimmy so much is because they used to get along and he used to think Jimmy was a good friend but seeing someone with the same face and even some similarities in personality being a corrupt sheriff well it infuriates him

Could you have them react to the rift? Like, the rifts in both empires and hermitcraft, and the theory that there is gonna be a crossover. I haven't seen anyone do it yet-- though, your choice of course ajbfjsbsjdn
I think that's a great idea! If you've seen the rift festival, there was a note saying "new portal who dis" from grian who threw it in. At the end of his episode he gathered about 12 other hermits and they went through the portal. So I think there is going to be one!
