I am a pretty firm believer that Xornoth is dead, it is not completely impossible there might be new followers of Eor and Exor but Scott and Xornoth themselves are likely still in the afterlife Scott created

I don’t think it will be xornoth. But I think it is the spirit that corrupted him is now going for Shubble. Katherine’s story basically screams I AM GOING EVIL SOON! And the story of season 1 was as far from obvious as you can get. That’s why I think MythicalSausage and Joey are out of the villain because they were possessed villains. Katherine is too obvious.
I believe Shubble is going to go full villain this season.

My theory is that Lizzie is a descendant of one of Joey's villagers. In her video, she stated that the last interaction her people had with a human, is when a human ruler kept them in cages wearing silly outfits. I think that ruler was Joey, and the outfits were the villager robes

News! Lizzie recently posted her empires video and it was full of tea and references to season 1. First Lizzie had confirmed (as if it wasn't already spoiled thanks to joel lmao) that she was a cat, and she explained how her ancestors were imprisoned in a certain empire *cough* Lost Empire *cough* never to set foot out. And she even made references to how she made axolotls as cute protection guards in her waters around her village cause she read about how a certain someone can command an army of them (s1 lizzie) and serve her protection. And isn't it just me or her buildings look a little too similar to Gem's academy? and the fact lizzie has her amethyst mines while Xornoth was imprisoned in amethyst?? Could lizzie stumple upon Xornoth in the future??
If I remember correctly, she also made a reference to xornoth (I dont know how to spell it-) being weak to water, saying that water was a good defense against evil I think.

I really love the theory that the oceans blessings given to Lizzie ssn 1 were taken away when she failed to protect the ocean therefore turning her into a cat, so that she may never be with the ocean again.

Fun fact : when Lizzie refers to in the history books “our cat ancestors were trapped in cages in the deep jungle” referring to the lost empire in season one ( I think it’s how he kinda didn’t like the mud bloods ) and how “one can command an axolotl army” referring to the ocean empire in season one I just noticed a few days ago

I’ve got a head canon that pixel riff is uncovering grimlands because of the bridge.The bridge looks like the wall in grimlands and the wall probably was destroyed because the cod fathers kingdom went bye bye .And after the sea level rising some of pixel riffs great great family made the bridge as a symbol what they think was their in the past.

I have a theory about Gem and FWhip, after the great explosion, when the twins left empires, they went to where Dawn stood, Wizard Gem has been appointed by the village they moved at as a leader. Later on, as she knew that her time will end, she used majority of her powers and later on gave birth to Princess Gem, it took toll of both Wizard Gem's power and health. Before her last breath, she granted FWhip, her twin's wish, to be able to take care of his niece, Princess Gem, and take care of her till she grows up. Wizard Gem's powers are very weak hence instead of giving FWhip more time to live, he became a goblin. And before Wizard Gem died, she tried removing both FWhip and baby Princess Gem's memories making sure that they'll be able to remember once the time is right. And when Princess Gem grows up, she'll be able to rebuild what was left of Dawn using her mother's guidance, the wisps, the magical beings her mother created before creating Princess Gem herself.

I was thinking about something because of Lizzie her Prisma palace is still there Lizzie might regain her memory because they’re basically all incarnated idk
I feel out of all the empires from season one to possibly uncovered by Pix or maybe someone else, I feel like it would be the Ocean Empire. I like to imagine that during the changes to the world between those thousands of years, the lilypads decayed, but the prisma palace stayed standing. It may have been drowned out even, almost like alantis. Still being ruled by fish, just not very smart ones. I'm hoping we see something of it return, lizzie had so much of her own lore for it that could play a part in this season, even if its minor. Like Pirate joe doing a raid of it and maybe finding Queen Lizzies armor, it being insanely big seeing she was ten feet tall lol.

Love the video, but instead of Shelby turning Lizzie into a cat, could gandalf have turned himself more humanoid and with his generations passing they left magic and will eventually form a new empire with lizzie. Their is also a connection between the Crystal cliffs and lizzie having amethyst underneath her empire.
And now Lizzie has revealed that she is a cat and has said that her ancestors (cats) were held in cages. (Could be related to Joeys kingdom?)

@@AlphaFX-kv4ud true, but I don't think the crown was destroyed, maybe because Scott is back, Scott could be a reincarnation of the old Scott and thus Xornoth's crown may still have his energy in it, and since if one brother dies, the other one will follow, maybe because Scott could be back, Xornoth will follow? I like to believe that Princess Gem was a non-magical descendant of Wizard Gem, and couldn’t attend the academy because she didn’t have the powers to do so. Maybe Wizard Gem cast a spell on herself to make sure she never died, turning her into the sun. Princess Gem found out somehow and now worships the sun, hoping it will give her the powers she always dreamt of.
Katherines land or pearls lands are definetly the source of sausages s2 empire's power and joeys villagers might have turned to cats
Amazing vid! But I did find a problem with your last theory. In Scott's finale he kills himself therefore killing Xornoth. I don't know what that means about Joey's finale but if the lore adds up Xornoth can't come back. This was not made to be annoying or disrespectful I just wanted to make sure all of the factors were thrown in to the equation. Thanks for the vid!

In one scene, she learned from a history book that axolotls could protect and attack mobs

Me and my friends (who are empires smp fans) created this theory (episode 1) where each of the new emperors/monarchs/princesses e.t.c we’re descendants from the previous empires, and since there was evidence in Emp S1 that the rulers live for like years and years. Also I really want Xornoth to come back, we need to see the Scottish demon come back! Great video!

I’ve got a theory! When gem told that she kept telling stories to the villagers in the place she escaped with Fwhip? Maybe the villagers started their own school which then continued teaching students for thousands of years. And because the village was in a sky island (like a different world) that’s why Shelby came to the world with a train. Shes a student of the academy!
I think the history books Lizzie refers to are from the ocean empire seeing as it talks about how axolotls have proven to be great weapons or something and water was a great defense
I'm prolly late for this but I think the character shrub from S1 is alive somewhere. We all know that Shrub was a hundred years old so it might be possible for a gnome to live thousands of years too, and I think Shrub is still somewhere in the empires world either in the nether lookin for the gnomes or living happily with her family and the other gnomes. Thought of her might be alive somewhere meaning she can come back to the story, to me that is something I want to happen.
There was something I noticed between them that was really small but i thought was neat, S1 lizzy found a lost panda in one of the crown-royalty episodes and S2 Lizzy had the lost panda trail! Its really small but i thought it was a nice detail {Unless it wasnt intentional-}
I feel like Joey was definitely imagining him and Xornoth as a couple because Scott killed himself, killing Xornoth as well. Also, there is a lot of proof that Xornoth was just using Joey as a pawn, and not having any actual feelings for him.

I think that gem’s pet cat is actually Lizzie, she saw how Lizzie couldn’t make it because the ocean or sea was destroyed and she couldn’t it survive. So Gem told Shelby to make sure she survives so Shelby made the decision to turn Lizzie into Gem’s pet cat

Its soo exciting, and now answers about the ender dragon's disappearance have been revealed with TheOrionSounds latest video: He killed the Ender Dragon after "accidentally joing the server". But how has he remained undetected for so long? Did he come before everyone joined? And if so, how long was he stuck in the end credits lol
But most importantly, how did he cross worlds to get there, and was it by accident, or is someone pulling strings in the background?
Pixlriffs mentioned that part of the lore for the Great Bridge is that it has points along it that marked the high tide along it but that something happened that made the water disappear and sink down to the level that it is at in the current time.

The Shubble theory was good, but they already confirmed (multipletimes) Xornoth is not coming back , also Scott killed him, what Joey saw was a hallucination created by the crown as he fell into maddness at the fall of his Empire
Also in lizzie's newest video she did say she learned from something that axolotls are the best for an army or something along those lines maybe she discovered a book owned by the ocean queen?
Me personally, I think some of them are connected. Like for example, Kathrine's playthrough, in her first episode, when she's explaining what happened to Glimmer Grove (I think that's her kingdom's name in season 2) gets destroyed like how the Overgrown got destroyed. I also think Shelby's playthrough is connected to Gem's season one playthrough. Lizzie, I'm not so sure. But I don't think Joel or Fwhip's playthrough are connected, nor Jimmy's playthrough because Jimmy said in his first episode that you didn't need to watch season one because it's not connected to season two, but I'm not sure if he meant that for his playthrough or the empire series in general. Joey's might be connected, but that's only because Joey still lives in the jungle biome yet, I haven't watched Joey's playthrough yet. I don't think Scott is connected either. But this is just my personal opinion, I really want some responses.
Can we discuss how Oli killed the ender dragon? The only other ender dragon was from Season one, Violet. Since that was the only egg, that'd mean he'd killed Violets child- or even worse, maybe even Violet herself....
Since in S2 Lizzie is a cat she hates water but in S1 she loved water since she was one the ruler of the ocean and 2 turned into the blue axolotl. My theory is since Lizzie “failed to protect the ocean” the water isn’t as welcoming.

I'm not sure but this is my theory(kinda). What if the s2 world is a warped version of the s1 seed? It happened with such force that it knocked all the ruins of s1.
i have a theory that lizzie was cursed after the ocean blessing to be a creature which avoids the water, joel ends up finding the ocean orb and becomes a god himself
Lol. Nice theories and a really well made video. Personally I hope Xornoth does not return as I found his storyline went on far too long and detracted from the more light-hearted shenanigans. I did like Shelby’s Gollum impersonation though when she got hold of the crystal 😊
I think a nod to the ancient history would be a nice touch with them discovering hints of distant ancestors. Wouldn’t it be great if Sausages assassins guild is still lurking in the shadows and his assassin carts suddenly start appearing, and what if Pixandria’s protector formed an ancient order of defenders.
One thing is for sure, the players will come up with far better unexpected storylines than I could ever predict.

I thought maybe xornorth place all the rulers under some sort of a genjitsu spell living in empires 2, so maybe our new witch shubble may discover about the spell and may seek help from the other empires to break the spell and come back to the normal ruin world to see xornorth was the ruler of the server and a villagers where his slaves and dat is where empires 2 will end and empires 3 will bring on the REBELLION

There are a lot of references in season 2 that goes back to season 1
shubble is a witch, gem and gandolf are wizards, witchs are born magical and wizards develop it. Great Witch Shelby could not have been a student of the Crystal Cliffs because in shubble explained in her finale that the headmister was a soot witch and was killed, she also said that her former school witches realised xornoth while Crystal Cliffs atempted to trap him

Like, with the story so far it just feels so right; the ocean uncovers a mystery that Pixel Riffs has to figure out in order to understand the warning that is to come of the Empire's world. Something that even Sausage couldn't predict and unturn the events

When you started the video and a quick clip of the end popped up, I had the idea that the reason the end portal was already open was because the ender dragon was killed in the first season

this is what i told pix "Hey Pixlriffs, I've come up with the conclusion that the tomb is most likely a tomb for the royals and nobles of Mythical Sausage's Ancestors (Mythlandic people.) Firstly, it is canon that Mythland has had multiple set ups for it's kingdom all across the world (As confirmed in his 1.18 Minecraft hardcore series) his style is very similar to the bridge or the castle-like structure. I think that after the death of their most powerful king (Mythical J Sausage, the J is silent) they valued death and slowly diverted from the origin of red, orange, and black to more cold colors to remember his death. Also these catacombs are underground, and all of the builds that are underground constructed by a family member of Sausage are very similar to the catacombs style. Also to back up the changing of styles, when the series started Sausage confirmed it to be 1000 years since the ending of Season 1; and being that 1000 is a lot of time to change their customs could have very much changed too. The Mythlandic Pantheon is polytheistic (hence why it's a pantheon) and consists of many unnamed deities and since blood sheep (the main group of gods worshipped at the time) caused so much harm to their king they changed their main gods to gods that fit with the events. Emerald represents rebirth and hope which are 2 things they must have really wanted. So it just makes so much sense that your restorations are restorations of later Mythlandic settlements. Also because of this video I have an explanation for the dual character thingy ma jig. So like basically the Mythlandic people at the time slowly drifted away from blood sheep and into other gods, however cults of said gods arose but these cults worshiped said gods for different reasons, dark reasons. So the mythlandic people of the time created the statue to symbolize the dual-sides to their gods and accept them, perhaps that god is the god of the dead, or the god of the nature cycle, which could make sense because it looks like Pearl and we know Pearl is a nature-ish god."

Xornoth coming back isn't possible though. His and Scott's lifeforces were bound togther bc of them being champtions thing and Scott *did* seperate his soul from his body during the s1 final of his POV. Unless Scott become a champion of Aeor again (which I doubt), Xornoth should not be around again
I know this is late but when Katherine saved the fairies those fairies could’ve been descendants of the fairies from the overgrown in season 1 and that some of the bad witches from stubbles academy could’ve been the ones to capture this fairies before the overgrown fell

I still hold that Scott’s s1 ending is xornoths canon ending, buuuuuut, you did make me think about the ender dragon. So here’s my mini theory:
When the baby ender dragon became full grown, gem returned her to the end, feeling that she couldn’t thrive probably in the over world. She would think that if she wrote about her journey, it would disway anyone from attempting to slay the dragon again.
But then multiverse.
