Their Album Hopes of fears is one the best albums ever done, in my opinion. Love this band
classic, let me share my story about this song. So I was walking on the street- New York City-. My headphones rocking, me, and this song. Suddenly, I saw the most beautiful girl in the world as I was getting out of work. I was hungry, stressed and tired but looking at her made me felt so great. And it all made sense! I went to her and told her " I was listening to this song when I saw you, I couldn't resist, are you from here? Can we be friends?" Now she is my wife :)

from this, I learned that sometimes you don't have to be shy when it comes to show your honest feelings, those you get for some one. Keeping it makes you doubting if it could have worked or no. So give yourself a try, I was always the shyest from my family and friends.

Such an underrated chord structure, with that move to the minor key in the bridge after the chorus to offset the high, colourful notes in the chorus. That minor makes you croon for the chorus again, it's genius...
@graemerauby also the secondary dominant in the chorus, it creates second tension before resolving to the tonic

What I love is that it really seems like Tom is loving what he’s doing when he’s performing.
He hit all those notes like a champ. Nice to see he can still move an audience. Almost 20 years since this song came out. Wow.

Heard this song on the radio today after a very very long time, I was sitting in a busy place and tried to sing along within myself through all the noise around it. Looked at the beautiful view and for a while relived all the nice memories in a flash, for a moment I was filled with hope again. THANK YOU!

Production on this live performance was spot on. So often see smaller sized gigs where the vocals sound horrendous, but these were exactly where they needed to be, and thus were delivered with almost the nuance of the studio version. 👍🏻A brilliant song, I love singing it it live too. 😁

Last week I had a surgery and the doctor was listen this music that I LOVE. I was unconscious but I remember that I was singing it and the nurse said: she is singing. ❤️ The brain is amazing.

Their songs light up my day, i usually set one of Keane's song which is "Sovereign Light Cafe" as my morning alarm. When i hear it, i feel the energy comin into my body to start the day.

My first ever music concert in life is Keane when they did the perfect symmetry tour in HK. Tom Chaplin and the boys still send shivers down for their live gigs. Missed barely to see them in. Seattle march 2019 ( was visiting for work and covid was just creeping into Seattle).. should have just gone who knew world would have stopped
