Took a leap of faith by recording all the audio for this review internally on the ZV1M2 - I actually was hoping it would sound even better than this. Could definitely still benefit from an external mic!
Definitely an upgrade, I have the ZV1 and bought the ZV1 ii. The microphone on these is amazing for a build in mike and the wind muff works better than most muffs on external microphones. I bet you had product showcase turned on when it focused on the steering wheel.

This is definitely a good overall package for those wanting to get into documenting their lives on video without having to use a larger cumbersome mirrorless camera and mic but also want to upgrade from their phones. The sound was ok I think, would be cool if it could be paired with the ECM-M1.
The reality is that when u’re shooting for broadcast and you only have 10hrs in the day, u’d be shooting a lot of things in auto. Fast turnaround shows (reality, edumentaries, etc) require this. If you don’t then you will overrun.
