I love Anorith and Armaldo. I hate how people ignore it, but love Cradily. At least, you're showing it some respect. Plus, in Mystery Dungeon 2, Guildmaster Wigglytuff was mentored by, and got into exploring with an Armaldo.
I knew Armaldo would be able to solo the game! I just finished my first playthrough of Emerald last week, and Armaldo’s Ancient power helped me a lot. It is a shame he can only learn fury cutter as his only bug type move; there were too many sand attacks and confusion hits for chaining them together to be viable. Funny enough, doing what you did with substitute would of helped with that
Yea, substitute Is very strong in Emerald, It blocks most stat lowering moves, most status moves and, like of all of that wasn t enough, It also blocks intimidate which Is huge if you are using a physical attacker
Armaldo is Pokémon that I always forget what typing it is. I always figured it's a bug type, but always that it's a rock type too.😂 I'm not a fan on the gen 3 fossils all too much, so I never used one in my gen 3 play thoroughs. But it wasn't that bad , I just wished it could get fury cutter as other stan option, considering it's a rock type too, rock moves are not that great either. I thought that Wallace would be much worse, especially with the type advantage. But I guess that sub strats are best strats.😊
I also thought that Wallace would be harder but sub Is op and also by the point i got to him my atk stat was very High so i could deal with his pokemons quite quickly
Hey Kronaat I like your challenges!! Thank you, firstly!! I just wonder if you could beat the game at a lower level, I think maybe this would make your runs more interesting!! Just a suggestion of course!
In this case i tried to skip trainers once i realized Armaldo got to the very fast growth rate, what often happens Is that i gotta get high to beat T&L and so i am also high for the league, still i think i can ignore some guys in victory Road in future runs

@Kronaast Substitute helps a lot with toxic and intimidate, and it's almost broken that almost any Pokémon can have it for the end game.
