I've been doing some purging of files and ended up with a lot of the hanging file folders. I didn't want to throw them away, but kind of defeats the purpose of purging if I'm just going to keep the folders. Then, low and behold Ms. E comes up with this beautiful useful folio project. Thank you so much for sharing your incredible creativity and crafty knowledge. I so enjoy your tutorials. 😷
Glad you rested yesterday. I enjoy working on long projects. I am going to add some things that was my mother’s and pass this on to my daughter. This turned out so feminine and gorgeous! Thank you thank you!
Hearing you talk of things being in 3’s or 5’s reminds me of my grandmother. She would say when planting flowers to plant in clusters of 3 or 5 but not singly. Good memory. Your journal is beautiful!
In Canada the on the 24th of May we celebrate Queen Victoria's birthday . our memorial day is called Remembrance Day and we celebrate on November 11, and we wear a poppy to remember the fallen. And by the way I really enjoy watching your wonderful videos.
The end result is fabulous I would encourage anyone to have a go. Xx No edith we dont have a memorial day but we do have a remembrance sunday and a 2 minute silence on the 11th hour of the 11th day of 11th month called armistice day. Hope you had a nice day xx
I've started a recipe mini album thanks to your wonderful videos. You make me believe I can do it and make it look good. Thanks for all the videos you bring to us!
This is just beautiful. From the paper to the trims everything is just perfect. I can see this being from a hundred years ago being used by the lady of the manor..it’s so romantic. Thank you Edith..
I simply love this project and will be doing this soon. Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us. Stay well and safe "E". Donna, in California.
Love this journal. By breaking it down you have made it easy to make. In the UK we have Remembrance Sunday also called Poppy Day. It is 11th November or the closest Sunday to it.💖
There are 6 countries that have their own remembrance day. I love this project,it is so pretty. Thank you for sharing this with us. This also will make a great gift!! Love and Hugs!!
Absolutely beautiful folio! Thank you! I’m sure you will enjoy and relish using it! In Australia, we honour our military personnel on the 25th April which is called ANZAC Day by holding commemorative services around the country with most of them happening very early in the morning at dawn. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps and dates back to World War 1. In some centres, street parades featuring our veterans and also our present serving military personnel and family members are held. However, not this year due to the virus. Hopefully, this little piece of information answers your question. 😀🇦🇺

Hello, Edith....you did pronounce my name correctly!! So glad you are enjoying he book and the card ( a little giggle here); and I believe the pronunciation for Melanie is "Munch inger". It's still a mouthful! Love your stuff!
I just love what you have created! The colors and the roses are so tranquil and romantic. It makes me want to decorate a small sitting area with vintage lace, rose wallpaper some doilies and perhaps a teapot with a cup of herbal tea! Yummy! That what this journal is to me!
This has truly been a wonderful series Ms Edith. I truly appreciate your time and effort. Your Memorial day sounds like the perfect holiday. I truly love my family as well. Due to my health problems I am still in quarantine and missing sweet hugs and sticky kisses.
Wow Edith... this turned out simply stunning! Your cover is like one lady said... a reminder of a pretty parlor with rose wallpaper, a little table with a doily tablecloth and a cup of tea! I've never seen the double stacked doily and love the look of it. Also, your inside folios are darling and I want to make the smaller one on the right side as a stand-alone folio as a gift for someone I have in mind. I do want to make this folio but won't get it done for the May Challenge, but it will definitely be on my "to do" list! Also, where do you store these? Do you have a nice big shelf area to store all of your gorgeous albums and folios??? I don't really have any room to put more than a couple, but I really DO want to make them all!
Wow! This turned out beautiful! You are so talented. I love the papers that you used! I was wondering if you could show how to coffee or tea dye paper! I would like to learn that technique! TFS your talent with all of us!
This is so pretty! I'm going to try coffee & tea dying some paper, I never have. Your videos have opened my eyes to things I need to try and make me realize I can do them. Love, love, love the removable journal!
Ms Edith, could you slide a pen down that second small slot where you have the tickets. Then you would have one at the front of the folio and easy to grab.
I love this folder. I just found this. Would it be possible to have the links from start to finish. I would really like to make this. Thank you so much.

What a beautiful job you're doing with that!! You should add a place to add a few ink pens or pencils in!!
💐🌺🌸
This is a beautiful project. I like the way you find to take unused items (like those hanging folders) as a foundation to create! Thank you.
It looks fantastic and thanks Edith for doing your file folder folio step by step...well done it's beautiful.

That bottom new pocket would be perfect for an ATC
I am sure you could. Great idea!
Just wondering, what do you feel is a ballpark price to sell one of these portfolio's for?
