Of course, you should be happy but remember my exams are not designed to have correlation to the exam. They are designed to share content you may encounter on the actual exam. Try the TestGeek final. It has correlation to the actual exam.
On question 73 I got the same answer. But instead I subtracted $49 and $50 and since it was a call I added the $1 and $4 to get $500. Is this another method to do it or did I just get lucky?
Thank you so much. Welcome to our industry. Always great to add human capital like yourself that bring a different perspective based on their previous interests or industry.
My practice exams are not meant to be simulations of the actual exam. They are opportunities to practice, drill, and rehearse current test issues through these practice questions. They are a teaching tool. Your simulations of the real exam should come from your test prep provider like the greenlight exams from STC or the mastery exam from Kaplan.
STC is a good choice. Kaplan contracts with me to teach some of their classes so no surprise I think Kaplan is the best but STC, Kaplan, Knopman, Soloman, and PassPerfect are all choices that do not put test takers at risk.
Hi Dean, one concept I am very confusing. On Q122. If the maintenance call is DR/0.75 what about another calculation market value *0.25 for minimum maintenance? should they mean the same thing? Thanks
Those are two different questions. Question 122 is market value at maintenance. Dr/.75. If question 122 was what is maintenance (it was not) that would have been 25% of the market value.
No. Roman numeral I is correct. Preferred stockholders have no claim on profits. Net income or profit or earnings or the bottom line of the income statement is after the preferred stock has been paid. The preferred stockholders are entitled to the stated dividend if declared by the board of directors. They are not entitled to earnings. They are entitled that dividend even if there is a loss or no earnings. Watch lecture on equity securities,
Hey dean I had a quick question. Number 79 you said it’s C. I & II. But you said that they will not participate in a big price decline, if you could clear that up for me that would be great
See time stamp for 79 at 1:11:01. Explained correctly. Brain fart. Verbal errata. The answer is A. For some reason after correct explanation and explication picked wrong letter. Lol.
What was your score? There is no score of good. It is a percentage. It is a good indicator but should have numerous practice exam scores. The more scores on the maximum number of practice exams the better the indicator those scores will be. How many practice exams have you done? What were the scores?
@@Series7Guru I would pause the video and answer the questions and scored 85 % on the exam from this video. I'm using Kaplan and on my mocks I'm averaging about 70-75% and I scored a 75 % on the practice exam.

Not sure what you are looking for. By definition closing sales are used to eliminate or reduce a long position. Here is 15 minutes on just this ruclips.net/video/9akZum-kse0/видео.html
Dean, appreciate the content. I scored a 80% on this exam and have my test coming up 3 days. 80% with only 2 questions wrong on options. Do you think I am on track or too far behind on other sections?
In the Uniform Practice Code for corporate and muni bonds it does not. Every month has 30 days. Probably should lay some base knowledge before doing practice questions.
Wouldnt’ question 56 be answer D. $6,600…..? Covered call your gaining the credit of $400 but obliged to sell the stock at 70. 70X100= 7000……7000-400 = 6600
It is not a covered call. It is a naked or uncovered call.. There is no stock position. If you get exercised on the short call you will have to buy the stock in the open market and deliver at 70. Watch Option Lecture 2. All the answers in this exam are correct. So are my explanations.
I said closing sale which is the correct answer but brain fart said that was choice B instead of C. This correction and all corrections are found in the video description time stamps.
Please go back to doing slides, it gives us time to answer before explaining. You would answer the question before we could see the answer set on some of these.

@@Series7Guru Thanks! On to the 66. I went with stc for the sie and 7 but im thinking of giving Kaplan a go for this last one.
Hey Dean,
Do you have a link to the word doc that contains the questions in this practice exam? I would like to print and follow along. Thanks!
Send me an email deantinney@gmail.com
how do you feel about STC study material for the s7?
I’m taking my exam on Monday!
Sending you get test vibes!!! Check back with your testing victory!
for number 12 wouldn't preferred shareholders have claim ahead of common shareholders? making roman numeral I false?
Watch lecture on equity securities,
Is it possible to get a series 7 with out a finance degree?
Absolutely!
Lol.
@@Series7Guru thank you so much. Your RUclips channel is a life savor right now
If you do good on this practice exam is that a good indicator that you will also do good on the actual series 7 exam?
What was your score? There is no score of good. It is a percentage.
It is a good indicator but should have numerous practice exam scores.
The more scores on the maximum number of practice exams the better the indicator those scores will be.
How many practice exams have you done? What were the scores?
@@Series7Guru I would pause the video and answer the questions and scored 85 % on the exam from this video.
I'm using Kaplan and on my mocks I'm averaging about 70-75% and I scored a 75 % on the practice exam.
@@edwinmartinez8966 Wow! Excellent! Right on track my friend. Keep doing what you are doing. When is your test date?
@@Series7Guru not at the moment. I’ll be doing the mastery on Kaplan soon though, so hopefully I see an even bigger improvement!
Btw appreciate the videos and material, they’ve been super helpful through out this whole process. Especially with units I’ve struggled with!
@@edwinmartinez8966 well in great spot right now. More than on track to make your mark!
I thought close meant do the opposite? Referring to question 50. It says closing sale.
It is a closing sale because that is the opposite of an opening purchase. Opening purchases are used to establish or add to a long position. A closing sale is used to eliminate or reduce a long position. So it is as stated a closing sale.
an explanation for question 45 would have been nice :(
Not sure what you are looking for. By definition closing sales are used to eliminate or reduce a long position. Here is 15 minutes on just this ruclips.net/video/9akZum-kse0/видео.html
45 is C.
Dean, appreciate the content. I scored a 80% on this exam and have my test coming up 3 days. 80% with only 2 questions wrong on options. Do you think I am on track or too far behind on other sections?
You are good to go my friend.
@@Series7Guru sure hope so. You have any experience with ExamFX? the practice tests seem to be absurdly detailed and nuanced
@@mikedemonte9737 not a fan.
@@Series7Guru do you typically see that their material is more difficult than the exam?
@@mikedemonte9737 unfortunately worse.....obtuse.
february has 28 days not 30 and march has 31
In the Uniform Practice Code for corporate and muni bonds it does not.
I think 45 should be “C”
I said closing sale which is the correct answer but brain fart said that was choice B instead of C. This correction and all corrections are found in the video description time stamps.
Please go back to doing slides, it gives us time to answer before explaining. You would answer the question before we could see the answer set on some of these.
Adam, I did. These came and were recorded before slides. They are the oldest videos on the channel so good news only practice test 1 and 2 are in this format.
Studying now
Stay the course!
Too many tangents and random stuff
Well good news for you. You can change from my RUclips channel to some other RUclips channel more to your liking.
I disagree. Talking about real world situations helps things stick for me.
