Organ Grand Premiere

It’s official - the organ is finished! After more than a year of construction, two weeks of physical installation, and two weeks of tuning and voicing, our brand new 3-manual, 42-rank Goulding & Wood pipe organ is complete. For the past two Sundays our Director of Music has taken the organ on “test drives” at the 10:30am service. But, this coming Sunday, July 25, he will literally “pull out all the stops” as we celebrate our patronal feast day, St. James Sunday. Until then, enjoy a sneak peek as Shannon performs the "Finale from Symphonie VI by Charles-Marie Widor (1844-1937)."
Members of the congregation are also invited to join Shannon at the end of the closing voluntary this Sunday for a tour of the new organ. These days we get so little live music in our lives, so why not spend a few minutes soaking in beautiful music as you prepare to start your week on Monday.
