it's because bosses don't get knocked back, the attack is supossed to knock you back and do just 1 instance of damage. bosses just stand there and take stupid amounts of damage cause no knockback

I wish they would have infinite poise for these battles because some bosses, especially Mohg can never bring out their full potential. Especially against multiple enemies where some bosses just get stunlocked.
