100%. This one seems to fly under people's radar - even Tarantino fanatics seem to either forget that this film exists or choose not to mention it when discussing their favorite of his films.
I love how even though Jackie is scared, in front of the ATF, she is calm, and lays out what she wants. She isn’t showing up to their office saying, “Please help me,” she states HER terms, WHEN she needs the terms met and says, “Can you do it, or not?!?” If the ATF really wants her help, they now have to scramble. She has barely any leverage, but she projects strength and uses what she’s got. I love it.
It doesn't show it in this scene alone, but there's a pretty obvious juxtaposition in the film where the first time they meet her she's told she absolutely cannot smoke, they slap her down. Once they need her, once she has leverage, "May I smoke?" "Absolutely!" Jackie Brown clawing her way up out of a grave and turning it all to her advantage
Bridget Fonda was so smoking hot and so smoking hot as this character as the California girl and in the shorts. My God how beauty can fade so horribly for some people. She is sad to see now. I hope maybe at least she might be healthy under the horror she turned into.
The most UNDERRATED Quentin Tarantino film. Great characters, great dialogue! Pam Grier deserved an Oscar for best actress!

The leather jacket is cool and all but damn the sound of it is driving me nuts
Anyone know this song?
Kind of pointless wearing a helmet, leather jacket, and shorts LOL. If you're gonna go squid, go all out.
Where in the hell did Pam Grier come from
She did a lot of film work in the70's. She was even hotter. You don't want to seeBridget Fonda today. Pam is holding up much better than Bridget.
@@freesoul3371 Well I like her and I like Fonda too.
@@ronniebishop2496 Then maybe you don't want to see them now. Best to remember them at their best.
@@freesoul3371 Oh I see what you’re talking about!
@@freesoul3371 I got it, I understand. Ok
