I never thought about it while watching but yes armand shows himself more to Daniel than to anyone else

I think the older Daniel is smart and see through the bs just like Lestat real fast when comes to other vampires. And it might attract Armand and he might be thinking “damn he sees through all my mess just like Lestat did I’m have turn him then”

I definitely I agree with you. Armand was so underused, the potential of a great and complex character not used. I was hoping they would make a Mastermind out of him. But well, I will have to read the book, The Vampire Armand. Maybe this will give me a more worthy portrayal of this beautiful and mysterious character.

Girl, you are on fire🔥 with your analysis and I love every minute of it. You brought up legit points that I did not think about regarding Armand's hatred for Claudia with respect to her ashes...and Louis pimping (mindset) behavour.
I agree, Armand grew to love Louis over the years, especially, since he knew Lestat would not interfere with their relationship.
I can't wait for Season 3, hopefully, they remain as a family to support each other.

Armand should had knew better. You watch Louis tells you he’s only with you to make his husband jealous

7:54 book armand experimented with claudia and madeleine before burning them in the sun. Book armand is a true gremlin and since this season was still focused on louis and claudia we truly didnt get to see Armands real crazy self. We only got a peak at it. I cant wait to see him unleashed. After lestat, armand is my favorite character in the vampire chronicles. His psychotic, devious, slutty ass is just delightful to behold
We only got a peak at him this season that scene when he talks about sleeping with tge entire theatre des vampires staff is imo pretty book accurate representation
And yes this show does a good job at showing how maninuplative this man is but so heartbreakingly broken and thristy for love and affection and always grasping for control.
The next season is gonna be epic especially if they dig into Lestat's back story we get lots of armand there and their rivalry is legendary as is their mutual respect/begrudging friendship with each other over the years. Its pretty epic

Armond was mean to Claudia that's why he's my least favorite on the show

Niyah, I like much of your commentary. Armand was a sacrifice by the tellers of the story. I think they may have capitulated to the commentary of the self-unaware.

Louis getting back with lestat in the end was so toxic lmao that man beat him into the ground. Louis wasn’t perfect but I could have never went back .

@@violetk8025 louis and Lestat are NOT a couple in the end. They essentially surpass lovers and are just FAMILY. Just two parents who have punished themselves for the past 70 years and each other for the loss of their child. That's why Louie went back to Dubai and why the house had color now. He picked himself. Moving forward and they are going to help each other with their grief. 🤷‍♀️
