I would strongly support a mandatory license for boating which includes: Trailering, Towing, Launching, and safe operation. It is not just this ramp, it is everywhere and people are beginning to get severely injured or mortally wounded.
Don't feel bad....you didn't tell them to buy the boat without lessons and if they want advice put up a sign ....video camera is free, advice costs $$$$
I can understand being a new boater having trouble backing a trailer or even trying to load the first few times. But not a fucking 3-ring circus like that first bunch come on have they been living in a cave and never seen how it's done!!
Someone needs to help that first group with a few pointers. Winch strap goes under the roller. Trailer was in too deep. And he’d have an easier time cranking it in if the passengers were either off the boat or at least moved to the stern. They’ll get the hang of it ……hopefully!!!!!
I didn't even notice the winch strap until someone else pointed it out!

I use my boat so seldom ( my wife and I can’t agree when to use it) that when my daughter or son is with us ,they do the loading and unloading.
That sounds like the better plan anyway! You can relax and let them do the work! 😉

1st boat had the trailer ITD and winch strap over the bow roller. Hopefully they'll learn to retrieve gooderer one day.
Pontoon boat had it down to a science.

Since you and your partner are such experts and enjoy humiliating boaters why don’t you make some how to videos on boat ramping on and off the trailer in varying wind and no wind conditions, winds from various directions. How far to back trailer in the water with various ramp angles, having reference marks on trailer for when to stop. Something wrong with the way you were raised.
