Sounds amazing! but I don't see me taking that many steps to make 2 at a time. Even supposedly owning 20 lil dishes & being able to vacuum pack them in 4 packs & sous vide 4 packs at a time... Still too fiddley for me. 🤪 That is a huge time commitment for all those steps. ouch! But I am happy to see You do it & that it tastes great! 🤩🎉 Thank You for all Your hard work as usual!! 😍
Love this, I'd love to learn more about how the vacuum seal/resting makes this safe
they cooked it sous vide.... or are You talking about the chemical they were talking about??
@@PinkLady54 yeah exactly, they did a first vacuum seal and rest to prevent something (I want to say sodium nitrate?) from remaining
I would recommend checking our episodes about Curing Salt/Prague powder to learn more about it.
That's super neat!
Could you do something similar with ground canned Spam and trasnglutaminase?
No. Spam from a can is precooked. Transglutaminase would not work on it because the proteins are are denatured in the cooking process.
@@Modernist_Pantry that's good to know, thanks for following up
love you guys!
Thanks!
❤
You could coat the inside of the bowl with soy / teriyaki sauce and top the rice with furikake 😋
oooh, yes!

Try making one giant one!
Would probably be even better with some Maillard reaction and nori
indeed!
😂
