Meat eater is honestly a gift from god. The amount of content they put out is insane, from the show, to the books, to the podcasts, to the many RUclips series, and I can’t get enough. By far the best hunting content out there, there’s not even a close second. Keep spreading the good word!
I just love this hole community, its not always easy to "be your self" when hunting is every thing to you and you live in the city at the age of 17... :)
I had no idea the camera was that big.. huge props for hauling that thing around all the same terrain Steve is walking in the show all while keeping him in frame. That’s insane
I appreciate how good these guys are at what they do. How in sync they are with each other. How they too can traverse the landscape at Steve's pace, at elevation, while carrying their own gear. How good they are to be able to not ruin the hunt inadvertently. They're as good as it gets from my perspective, but I'm sure they have stories about how things went wrong.
Loved the behind the scenes show. It makes for better viewing. What type of CB RADIOS are you using keep up the great work. You should try hunting in Australia. We have some great game. Great show STEVE AND THE GANG. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK MATE.
I absolutely love this content. Letting us see just how much damn work it is to produce this content should help folks understand the way you release the episodes. Thank you.
Im from the uk so dont really have alot of hunting like this over here but I'd love to go out to the US and give it a go. Since i came across this program I've been hooked.
Dude I would honestly be the guy to hold the audio stick for 17 hours in -20 degree weather in the mountains of Montana just so I could experience what you do in person! So cool!
No way! I recently found one of those exact same blaze orange hats with the black deer patch buried in the bottom of one of my dads old hunting tubs. Crazy
I've worked behind the scenes and I can tell you that 50% of tech people would not be able to handle the rugged camping the director and producer deal with. props to them.
Love this channel Your production and post production are darn near flawless ( I’m retired after 35 years in film and television production and postproduction most of it in Hollywood some in Seattle) I so enjoy this behind the scenes Your cinematography is beyond professional and very creative. My mom wants me to make a correction in the way you’re pronouncing Llama 🦙 A double ll in Spanish is pronounced as a Y sound YA MA or YAH MA I will share this with friends and family my best wishes always from Las Vegas Craig This video is 10 out of 10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👌✌️👍🤗
fucking best hunting episode of like all time? like not only are you hitting a goal but you are exposing the TRUTH of what it really takes to achieve entertainment... you made me sir... a meat eater!!!! fucking thank you sir!!!!
Really like your vids. It feels real. This brought more reality to the reality. I'm an old dude from northern Wisconsin. Really, really miss the dialogue between guys in the sticks. Thanks. Also, don't mess with Mike. You'll wind up with a different wind-angle view.
I think it's pretty awesome that Dan decided to sleep out in the snow. I was stationed in Alaska for 3 years and became ALIT certified after sleeping outside below negative 30! Quite the experience, and I have done a few times since then, but not near as cold. Keep up the great footage guys!
Meateater, can you explain the Video Permits to us? I’m really confused on this topic. Why do you need them, are they only good for a certain area, who requires this permit ?

Well, it ain’t from god, but it is heavenly.
Tons of respects go to the camera man!
They make Steve look like Jeremiah Johnson ! Lol !!!
For real.
They are the real MVP of the Meateater show

After revisiting this episode I'm convinced they need one behind the scenes episode per season.
yes please
or one episode every couple of months of them stacking it as they fall over climbing the mountains 🙂
Not just a behind the scenes but a blooper episode would be hilarious too.
Mad props to both Steve and the crew for making this show happen, and thank you for putting it on youtube for the world to see.
It's like 5 or 6yrs old....hipster.
@@jackwagon1798 The fact that they recorded the series six years ago does not matter, does it? And hipster? wtf

As a self hunt film maker I am so impressed by the work of everyone involved in these hunt productions. This was brilliant.

Dan is an effin Manimal for hard coring it on the side of the road in the snow. Tons of respect! Great jobs guys and thank you for all that you do!!
Wow was hoping they'll release something like one day. Was always thinking damn these cameraman must be serious athletes...
not even a hunter and I can say that the overall production quality of this show is so good that it really makes me want to go out and give it a go.
This is great to see how it’s done from the inside out. love the humor and lack of ego u can see makes a strong team
Always great content! No other production can match your episodes.
I love this. Definitely need more behind the scene videos.
It's old AF, get with the times hipster.
Absolutely love these kind of videos! thanks for the behind the scenes.
Great show! As a hunter I appreciate his ethics and effort
Thanks Steve and the entire awesome crew!!
Finally got to see the boys behind the cameras. Love this show
So just like any other deer camp except with camera gear. That’s sweet!!!
you guys need to do more of these behind the scenes episodes. i personally would enjoy it a lot more from time to time.

Maybe that's in Part 2 ;)
