Why are the cutest animals also the ones most likely to kill me? Like mountain lions! They just look like big fluffy house cats and I want to hold a cub!
It makes me sad to know that I will never see any place like this for the first time. I always have to be shown a picture first to ruin the experience. Can you imagine what it was like for the first person to have ever laid their eyes on this treasure? We will never be able to recreate that experience. Wherever I am I always feel like moving away. There is something within me that is not content with staying in one place for too long. The way that we live today and the "progress" we've made really is a shame isn't it?
I'd love to visit here but how does one protect themselves from bears, mountain lions etc? I've got two boys and it's not worth the experience if we get killed.
For bears, there is a thing called bear spray so if you encounter a bear then if it starts to run towards you you can spray it and that will give you time to escape.
Just stay where there's a lot of people, the carnivores won't come out You really only need to worry if you're hiking the more remote areas of the park

its sad to think that this entire ecosystem is going to blow up the second Yellowstone erupts.
We will surely find a way to destroy it before that happens.
