Apparently at one point there was an exploit with the drive-thru touchscreen menu system where by ordering burgers and removing everything except the buns, the cost would be negative. So you could order one normal burger and a bunch of bun-only burgers and get free food. I might be misremembering that? Never did it myself (no car, don't want McD's anyway) so idk.

Just get a month bus pass. Unlimited rides on the system. Cheaper in the run, without the hassle

One of my teachers bragged about how her elderly mother had a killer phone plan on her landline.
Decades ago, she signed up to a party line plan. For the kids out there, a party line is when mutliple addresses share a single phone line. The idea is you should only pick up when the phone rings a certain way (ex: if your house is assigned one short ring and a long ring), but nothing stops you from picking up and listening in on the neighbor's conversation.
Over the years, neighbors dropped off from the party line and got their own lines one by one until my teacher's mother was the last person remaining.
This was circa 2010-ish, and her phone bills corresponded not only to a 1950s phone plan, but a CHEAP 1950s phone plan.

I've seen some of these before and the one that always gets me is the person who thinks paying £25 for pizza is an amazing life hack because they get £25 of pizza for free with it.

I once moved into a new place and didn't get a gas bill for the first few months in spite of having signed up with the company and everything.
One day, I called them asking if we had an outstanding balance on our account. The guy said we were all set. I specified we haven't been charged for anything yet.
Guy finds a mistake at their end, and charges us for everything since day 1. No good samaritan discount or anything : (

Had a place i ordered food at on uber eats became a quiet frequent costumer after realizing they mess up like all orders of 1 item and i could get my money back each time. Ordered there about 30 times for free and now its off the app 😂. The part they messed up was: i ordered a pizza and they gave me a pinsa. Its like the exact same thing but with a different dough in their store and different shape. It was enough for the uber support to give me right 😂

He is more of a homebody and doesnt mind me using it since we look very similar and i go to work and just out way more than he does, so id get free rides everywhere and on top of this i can bring ppl on for free since i can claim them as assistants.

Back before I quit coffee, I’d order a small dark roast and ask them to add hot water the rest of the way but put it in a medium cup.

No, you don't have to pay tickets you get on a private lot but anyone who keeps track of tickets will have your cars information and if you get too many tickets the car will get towed

If you talk to the old guy and watch his catching tutorial, then go to the island and swim along the East coast, you can get bugged Pokemon and duplicate items.

$150÷4 months = $37.50 per month.. $10 ×30 days = $300 per month.. how is his math wrong?

You appear to have calculated that 3-4 months is 9-12 days.

The laundry room in our basement - using the washers is ~1 euro, but 1 rinse + spin is only ~30 cents.
So instead of running a normal program (wash and 2 rinses) I run 3x rinses + spins and save a staggering 10 cents.
    I'm RICH I tell ya!

In the apartment building I used to live in, the dryers took coins, but one of them was broken such that it would just run as long as the door was closed. It stayed this way for months and people who noticed used the hell out of it. Not only it was free, but it was unlimited, so you'd come back in an hour and get your nice warm, dry clothes instead of coming back in half an hour and restarting it. Probably a major fire hazard, but 🤷
