    Narrator (Tom Baker): Here, in the final chicane of seabases are the great engines that would be put in the service against the rest of the planet. The machines that will spread nanobreakers across the ocean, designed to devour at the very least the food and power making technologies of the rest of Earth. The machines that will program dissent out of the human mind. That will incinerate pockets of resistance, and reduce entire countries to puddle of protein, leaving the buildings empty for resettlement.
    At least, that's what we thought.
    The human Cabal behind the chicane.
    The species they grew to make war for them have taken over. And unlike the Cabal that grew them, they have no reason to leave anyone on Earth alive.

    There is an interesting bug on this level. If you destroy Anteaus the mission passes.

    Ya know, for an RTS this and Homeworld Cataclysm are really dark and grotesque.
    Like, this took a sudden turn into Horror while Cataclysm somehow went into Survival Horror...

    Turrets, blast towers, derricks, energy storage pods. If you hide behind a hill the Red Walkers that come to check you out won't find you. It's a fiery game of hide and seek.
    Frankly, anything outside the range of a Lightning Spire that isn't a Laser Turret is fair game.

    Power and control shifts more quickly than some may like to believe, and those whod think themselves masters quickly find themselves in the gallows.

    Cloak, decloak, shoot, cloak again. Wait for the heat to drop, decloak, scoop up, try again. A lot of my power came from the set of four or five derricks that sprouts from the ground near the lab you're starting in. Once I have the power, I just stealth on over to the transmitter, then head for the pickup zone. At first I tried to destroy that bio-radar, which required clearing of blast towers, but in the end I just made a beeline for the LZ.

    A Let's Play of sorts? Hmm. I suppose I could, even if I prefer to play in a not very optimal way. Still, I suppose I could record my way of going through, say, Invasion, Gauntlet and the start of of Island Zero...
    I'll think about it.

    i played this game and this level is the hardest of all i think. they keep spawning towers / sending alien flyers loads of bugs.. and area has much AA cannons

      Hey there, since you struggled a bit with this level you might find this interesting:
      Level 17 done in 52 mins without any support from soulcatcher units - all direct control.

      And you could watch the rest of the video if you're interested. Lvl 15 through 21 in 6h48' without any soulcatcher units.

    I didn't have that much problem with it. But then, I kinda cheated. The bugs don't know you're there for quite a while, so you can send a Puma + Cloak + Firestorm in to explore the island, find the mainframe, and set fire to any bug AA, Blast Towers and Derricks. Did you know that smaller bug buildings, once set on fire, don't stop burning till they die?
    Meanwhile, at the Antaeus, I build two Longbow Sharks, and a Pegasus (yes, Pegasus) to ferry the wreckage of the flyers to be recycled.

    or just from lvl 15 to 21 couse those lvls are more interesting. and thanks for your time dude :D

    Hmm. Even though most of those are kinda long, I suppose a kind of opening strategy thing wouldn't go amiss...

    u should probably make vids about the way how to play ( play the level and vid it ) becouse no 1 actually made vids for hostile waters fans.. and its a great game so can u make vids about some difficult levels like invasion or this 1?? it could be a great help to get it faster done instead of taking hours.

    i thinks its a great idea couse no 1 can do it and the things are genius + ( me included couse i got no recording cam and dont kno sht bout it ) but dude take your time and its up to you :)
