    I wouldn't change anything that you're doing Mike. It's really nice to be able to clearly see the house and price in the thumbnail. It's an informative and useful thumbnail. Copying is the most sincere form of flattery anyway. Don't leave a good formula just because others recognize that it's a good formula too.
    You also may not realize that your thoughts on the property really add to the video too. That combined with not spinning too fast and all of the other little things that you do make you the Big Island real estate guy.
    So keep putting your best out there and don't pay attention to what others are doing and you'll come out on top.

    Yes, on the renovation video, and no, please don't change your style! If you feel you have to add anything, I love your little orange dog logo, (nothing against using your mug 😂), the orange is eye-catching! Love your videos!

    You should put Mike Drutar presents on the thumbnail. It puts your name out first in the viewers' minds. Perhaps the picture you had on the end of the video as well..

    No need to change your style, best way to view your videos is to subscribe to them! Would love to see your own renovation project, as well. As for this house, excellent space and a good blank canvas for putting your own stamp on it. Would definitely have to redo kitchen and bathrooms, as well as floors in those spaces, and would add a pool in the back garden. Love that it’s doggo friendly.

    Why is there so much separation between the Dining Area & the Kitchen? I would set that area up as a Study/Office space. Your delivery & vignettes are spot-on; & I always get YOUR Uploads as I'm a subscriber. I think that property altitude & rainfall averages would be beneficial since the Big Island's volcanoes play such a huge role in environment. I lived in Ewa Beach for 8 years & it was more akin to living in AZ than Hawai'i. My last Duty Station, NCTAMSPAC above Waiawa was much more temperate & mild. Great Job as always, Mike. Mahalo! 🤙

    Hey Mike I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's obvious you've established your brand. The problem with the copycats is content. The way you present homes is a reflection of your brand. I don't think they could ever copy that.

    Mike, as far as copycats go, you can do the thumbnail, it is probably best way to ensure that those not subscribed are seeing your videos. As far as I am concerned, the best way to ensure you are watching your videos is to subscribe to the channel. Now on to the house tour. I have to say what a beautiful house. It has great bones, a great view and a good lot size- talk about hitting the trifecta! I would definitely have to fit the kitchen and master bath. I think the kitchen layout could be improved, and the master bath is just showing it’s age as well. In spite of this, if I had the cash and could pick up and move to Hawaii, it is definitely a house I would seriously look at. Great tour!

      Agreed good sir. Mikes videos are my primary source of Hawaii Real estate info. Very well done, very natural. And very complete. They feel more" real" to me. how are a "best of" Series where you show off style examples for say, Kitchens, outdoor, pools/kitchens, bathrooms (I love the out door showers.)

    Sewer or Septic? Solar water heater? Solar power? Love the size of the yard. I could create a spectacular "Lazy River style pool with a tropical theme. Lava Rock waterfall. I saw a home with that AND a gas flame on top (think volcano).Add an outdoor kitchen. Love the fruit trees. Add some Pineapple plants (I watched your video on those!)

    Oh, and yes to a Renovation Series, I would include your Vision, and Cost/Variety of Contractors/Architects and timelines for the renovation. Sorry to hear about the cheap rip-offs; I have noticed an increase in Garbage, glitzy No-Substance Videos especially for O'ahu properties. I have zero interest for Maui or Kauai so I can't comment on those. Judging from the number & substance of my comments = I'm a Mike Drutar Believer.👍

      @@HawaiiRealEstate its usually a good indicator that the road is high traffic with a high speed limit.not good for kids or pets..might be different over there.

    I think having your face on your thumbnails will be fine. I did get fooled into clicking those other videos. I have since unsubscribed to that creator, commented, and gave a thumbs-down. That was very sleezy of them in my opinion.

    Yes to having your picture in tge corner but to be honest, within 15 seconds of clicking on one of the imitators it's immediately apparent they aren't you and I click off immediately. The narratives on your videos are far and beyond better than the phonies.
