Tokyo | Weird & Wonderful | 2018

This is modern japan: an electric, organic, seamlessly connected city full of culture and curiosities at every turn.
My first ever solo-backpacking trip started in Tokyo. I arrived at 10pm, traversed a labyrinth of subways, and emerged from underground, immediately bombarded with the neon lights and bustling crowds of Shinjuku. It was sensory overload. I felt the energy of the city immediately. I was captivated for each second of my two week trip, losing myself in the twists and turns of the city, discovering something weird and wonderful around every corner.
This is a cinematic journey that weaves you through the ebb & flow of my 2 week Tokyo experience - from the chaotic, to the serene - and everything in between.
