🔥 Before using the multimeter function, it is recommended to replace the soldering iron tip with the proper test leads.
The black USB-C lead and the included red tip! (No its not a Screwdriver!😅). Do not measure voltages higher than 36V. Please note that if you use the regular soldering iron tip in multimeter mode, the measurements may not be as accurate, although it will still work.

I got to see a prototype of this while visiting Zoyi's factory in Shenzhen earlier this year. It's nice to see the final product!

You my friend are a lucky man! I've been invited by Zotek as well but just need to work out the logistics 👍

The debate on how practical this tool is could go on forever, but the cool factor scores a 10! Thank you for finding this product and an awesome review.

Love your reviews, just one comment: USB-C PD can deliver up to 20V/100W if you use special 100W-USB-C to USB-C cables. The USB-A to USB-C cable only allows around 60W.

I just bought a similar T12 soldering iron. I have plenty of multimeters around. I really don't need this. Ordered, it will be here in 2 weeks.

The Chinese prompt on the screen reads: "Do not measure voltages above 36V." Before using the multimeter function, please switch from the soldering iron tip to the test leads, and avoid measuring voltages higher than 36V.

Holy moly, that's nice! Wonder if it can work with higher voltage capable USB-PD bricks to get the most power from the tip, knowing it can also do T12/T15 tips! Shame it cannot heat up without a brick...if it was just a soldering iron I'd take it!
Now would you test one of those USB-C soldering T12 soldering irons that can put power into the tip, choosing between one of those or a soldering station style iron...

Cool idea, but on the practical side, it's probably a matter of taste. At the end of the day, you'll still need a multimeter. And these ~65W soldering irons can often struggle to do the job, so maybe you'll need a more powerful soldering station too.
So, while I find ZOYI ZT-N2 interesting, I personally would gladly ditch that whole multimeter gimmick for a proper power adapter, spare tips and a case. 🤷‍♂

Kudos NE, makes sense. Btw, they also offer the ZOYI ZT-N1 which is strictly a soldering iron (no dmm),but still lacks the charger,Xtra tips and case.

The message in Chinese says that you should not have the voltage exceed/go above 36. Also, 350 is quite low as a temperature; the TS100s I use goes much higher and often needed when dealing with a large groundplane or XT90 plugs. find the multimeter gimmicky... perhaps this is useful when you are in a pinch.

      Appreciate the translation. Thanks!
The max temp is 450°C with the appropriate Fast charger. Multimeter functionality is limited but still nice in a pinch as you say!
