Would you say pen sketching (via tablets or 2in1 laptops) is more comfortable than mouse sketching (via laptop)? I'm a soon to be a fashion designer student but Im also studying media and communication so Im into editing too. From all the research I've done, Apple products are preferred for design(they appear to be much more superior in graphics and functionality) but why do i feel like touch screen and pen would be easier? I'd be so glad if you'd take the time and share your opinion /advice with me! Have a nice day :) *If I buy a mac will I probably need to buy a tablet too for a more comfortable and appropriate sketching? *

Oh thank you! ☺️💖 I feel like it might be difficult at first but the more experience you have in the industry the more money your likely to make! I’m sure you’ll make the best decision! Always way out you’re pros and cons!
I have a question, do fashion designers sew their garments for customers and stuff. Because I heard they are not allowed to do that or else people won’t but it
I believe it depends on what level you would like to be at as a fashion designer! Normally designers design and don’t tend to make the clothes but it all depends on the circumstances!
If wanted to work in the fashion industry as a seamstress in haute couture ateliers(sth like that), is it appropriate to choose to major in fashion design?
thank you for this video! i am still only a freshman in high school but i’ve been sewing for almost 3 years now and i’m thinking of pursuing something with fashion design!
This is the issue .... it is expensive Depending on where you go and whether or not it's a program versus an accredited college I've seen a lot of crazy expensive programs that were offered at for profits but Usually a college that offers a degree is not that expensive
Of course, if it’s something you really want to do then I’m sure there’s a way to make it happen! I’m not sure how you can transfer but I’m sure your school must have counsellors to help! 💖😊
Thanks it was really helpful, how about finding job or ur own line establishement? is it too difficult or it's usually possible for the majority of fashion designers ?
I am very interested in fashion, it is my dream! But I am from Mexico and here they do not support that career much, the maximum you can do is become a seamstress and make wedding and quinceanera dresses Do you have any tips for applying abroad??

It's the same here in USA! I'm a fashion designer from Brazil and have been lived in States for 12 years. The only way to make decent money is with bridal alterations. I have a seamstress friend who owns this type of business. She make around 3.000 dollars easily weekly. She's been doing this for many years and her work is excellent and she works pretty fast as well. The creative side is just for marketing, or for dreamers.I'm 45 years old and I graduated at the age of 21! The industry is not a good spot to be in either. Good luck!😉🇧🇷❤️🇺🇸

It all depends on which school you choose to attend, every program is different! Some schools might want certain criteria’s for a project and then other projects you would be the one making all the decisions from start to finish. Hope this helps 💖
@@ariellestewart_ it really helpsss! i understand it now :))) THANK YOU SO MUCH

Thank you so much because this video just helped me so much coz am gonna study fashion design
Love your video . I have a quesiton is there any 1 2 years programms ? I don’t want to go only to learning more about fábrics and sewing and partners making .? Do you think I should just do theses courses separated instead of going to college for fashion design ?
You have no sound on this post.
you beautifull you fit on it
Would you say pen sketching (via tablets or 2in1 laptops) is more comfortable than mouse sketching (via laptop)? I'm a soon to be a fashion designer student but Im also studying media and communication so Im into editing too. From all the research I've done, Apple products are preferred for design(they appear to be much more superior in graphics and functionality) but why do i feel like touch screen and pen would be easier?
I'd be so glad if you'd take the time and share your opinion /advice with me! Have a nice day :)
*If I buy a mac will I probably need to buy a tablet too for a more comfortable and appropriate sketching? *
Where did you study?
Omg you are so beautiful and graceful ❤️❤️. Btw I was thinking of taking up a diploma course in fashion as I am graduated with a degree in biological sciences. I have been hearing that getting a job and paying the bills is hard in this industry. Is this true? I am scared as hell RN as I am not able to figure out what to do 😭😭
Oh thank you! ☺️💖 I feel like it might be difficult at first but the more experience you have in the industry the more money your likely to make! I’m sure you’ll make the best decision! Always way out you’re pros and cons!
This was really motivational, I’m studying my foundation degree for fashion in london and tia tough! 🥵
@@ariellestewart_ thank you for answering my question 😊
i have always wanted to do fashion designing when i graduate from school, but im having second thoughts on doing so T^T
This was very informative, thank you very much for the great video !❤💖🤩👌🏽
Thank you!
you are very pretty

If wanted to work in the fashion industry as a seamstress in haute couture ateliers(sth like that), is it appropriate to choose to major in fashion design?
You definitely could! It would possibly benefit your career long term! 💖
@@ariellestewart_ Thanks for your video and reply! ❤
thank you for this video! i am still only a freshman in high school but i’ve been sewing for almost 3 years now and i’m thinking of pursuing something with fashion design!
🥰
This is the issue .... it is expensive Depending on where you go and whether or not it's a program versus an accredited college I've seen a lot of crazy expensive programs that were offered at for profits but Usually a college that offers a degree is not that expensive
I am not studying about fashion but i am so much interest and i know I do well for
I am doing health and social care level 3 can i still apply for fashion designing?
Of course, if it’s something you really want to do then I’m sure there’s a way to make it happen! I’m not sure how you can transfer but I’m sure your school must have counsellors to help! 💖😊
Hey! Thank you for this video, I was wondering how do you ask to do an internship?
I feel like the best way to ask for one is to send an email, reach out ( via IG)! Also some schools send out opportunities by email! 💖
Is it necessary to study from a top most schools
Which professions can you do with a design degree?
like none
So many! I will be posting an update video about this topic!
@@ariellestewart_Are you still working on fashion? You only have 2 videos. If you are how’s it going?
Thank you so much for the video🙏🏼 it was hella helpful and high quality xx
Thank you! 💖
thank you so much for this video!! i plan on heading to uni to get a fashion degree next year, this was so helpful 🫶
can you get successful jobs after this program?
Definitely! It all depends on what area your interested in! 💖
Thanks it was really helpful, how about finding job or ur own line establishement? is it too difficult or it's usually possible for the majority of fashion designers ?
I'm just trying to find a school rn 😅
That’s a great place to start!
My goal is to study fashion!
I don’t think I have a goal at the end of this, but I really want to do fashion
It seems like such a fun career

Im going to cry, how am i even gonna graduate
Can I do Digital sketches?
I am very interested in fashion, it is my dream!
But I am from Mexico and here they do not support that career much, the maximum you can do is become a seamstress and make wedding and quinceanera dresses
Do you have any tips for applying abroad??
That’s awesome that your interested! 💖
Hola! Soy de México y este año empiezo la carrera de diseño de moda aquí en el país, mi escuela tiene muchas oportunidades de intercambios y la verdad esta muy padre. Si quieres mándame un mensaje :)
