This woman was an absolute legend in her own time. "Interview with the Vampire" and "The Vampire Lestat" will remain classics of horror literature for centuries to come. RIP
She IS a legend 💔
Props to the interviewer; seamlessly took the conversation into some very interesting areas.
Ive admired her work for many years, this woman has a brilliant mind and imagination.
The Vampire Lestat blew my mind when I was in high school. I read that book three times.
I still reread that book every few years.....just to keep my sanity.
Gone but never forgotten, beloved Queen of Gothic Literature
And then she LOVED Tom
I know, that was such a surprise.
Eudora Welty was my mother's first employer.....my mom worked as her assistant (probably in the late 1930's or early 1940's)
She was so passionate when talking about lestat
Anne considers the vampire Lestat to be the beginning of vampire Chronicles, with all due respect.
She does not
Tom: I'm Vincent!
Tom definitely "Rose to the occasion"! lol
