Surprised how much I enjoyed this! I could picture myself have a very insightful and intellectual conversation with Christopher. Something that happens so rarely these days , especially between gay men.
Christopher looks so much like his father. And he's so wise in the subject of coming out. There's alot of glamourising of coming out without regards to the variation of life situations for some lgbt people. You should always be safe and not rush into things.
very much love christopher's commentary in this about how queer peoples' situations with coming out are so different and how we cant pressure people to come out just to deem them more acceptable. this just recently happened with kit connor, one of the main stars of the heartstopper adaptation. he was deemed a "queerbaiter" by a huge part of twitter because it wasnt definite what his sexuality was, so people just assumed he's het and therefore a queerbaiter. so he came out as bi against his will and left the platform. like if het/cisphobia and/or prejudice truly doesnt exist, why does it backfire and harm queer people CONSTANTLY?
Just caught an update about what they're doing to the Vampire Chronicles and it looks like crap. I guess you can't expect much seeing what they're doing to the source material of everything these days. More 'woke' garbage. Oh well... just another thing I won't be watching .. and I've been waiting for a while. Yeah, lets make Louis a black pimp in modern times .. sounds great! 😂 Who are they making this for? Certainly isn't for the fans of the books.
