I've been waiting for this game for so long. I need to check up on my kickstarter account to make sure everything is in order. I contributed over 400 dollars towards this game

I really liked sea of stars, and star ocean 2 looks like it’s gonna be a great remake. Also I’m looking forward to smrpg remake, and paper Mario thousand year door which I never got to play. It’s been good for classic turn based RPGs. 😊 btw I’m happy to see a world map too!! So many games don’t do that anymore. It’s ok if they at least have exploitable paths between locations like dq11 for instance, but when games don’t even have that and instead just have a location list, that’s the worst
I just heard about this game for the first time recently so based on time investment alone I can’t be as hyped as you are but since first seeing it this game has shot up to the very top of my MUST PLAY 2024 list . It just looks so good 😍🤩how I missed it for years is beyond me but holy shit game looks MINT

Loving your thoughts on this! Very high fidelity game if you ask me and if this is how they will revive the Suiko franchise in a form of a spiritual successor, then I'm all in! As I read and quote from other commenters from different sources, "this is the Suikoden 6 that we need" :D. As for Konami remastering/remaking Suiko 1 and 2, I'm in it as well but I will not get my hopes up for a continuation of the franchise. Still, I will be a very happy gamer if they remake Suikoden 3 to 5 as well!
Fingers crossed for a 3 4 5 remaster! If we never get a 6, then I'm more than happy for Eiyuden to continually grow into a large series. I just love how we already have a spinoff for it!
"I've already scheduled my sick days." Haha! This reminds me of when the factory I worked at completely seriously posted a notice that all our emergency time off needed to be scheduled in advance. But to the topic... So glad Eiyuden is shaping up as nicely as I'd hoped! Theater sounds like LOADS of fun and maybe the most expansive yet... I greatly enjoyed in S3 but it felt a bit limited.
If this game delivers an amazing experience based on what the trailers and information revealed it will go down as one of the all time greats. Obviously I could be 100% wrong but the major hype plus the industry veterans PLUS the devs transparency , passion and confidence gives me high hopes
Been watching sine hitting kick starter. I been hype for this and happy it slapped the crap company who own Suikoden to finally do the bare minimal and do a “remaster” as well. This series I found in the late 90’s to this day is still the most held dear game series to me I could not be happier it’s final getting a come back. After a solid decade and change of watching rpgs slowly wither I get to see atleast some what of a rebirth. I hope we get many more before the fad shifts and breaks my heart again.
My favorite Suikoden game was Suikoden 5 and would like to at least explore that kind of style. This art style is great and they shouldn't abandon it but I think it would be fun if they consider basing some of their designs off of the later Suikoden styles going forward

Oh yeah, a bit of a collector, too? There will be physicals as far as I know. I backed the game on kickstarter and ordered a physical (plus 3x character statues).
I'm definitely getting this day 1! I love the theater in S3, i hope they have the massive fails if you choose a terrible actor in this one. Casting Chris as Juliet always got a laugh out of me. 😂 have they announced a specific number, or is it just a vague over 100? Also, any confirmation of the mains from rising being recruitable?

Oooh yeah. I'm excited for SO2, Mario RPG and Paper Mario! Will definitely be playing them, day 1!

I preordered the Digital Deluxe Edition. Main Reason: all DLCs inclusive and 48 hoursEarly play...so i will play it at the 22. April 2024😊

It looks like this is going to add a load of depth to all of the mini games. Cant wait to learn more.

No specific number yet, as far as I know.Would be great if it was 108, haha. And yes, the Rising characters will be recruitable.
