i have to say the usefulness of parts like the gearbox is pretty good for beginners! (i got this set though its probably my 30th? probably more) love your reviews!
A lot of great functions packed into a nice, small little set. It's both as big and as small as it needed to be both at the same time. My only gripe of this set is that it includes the tacky, old-style string rather than the newer tangle-free string that they put into most Technic sets that need them these days.
I was going to bring all of the exact same things up; it does irk me when I realised this Technic set gets undermined a bit by the cheap string when the Mobile Crane set from the City theme has the newer stronger string while also retailing at around half the price.
Is it an error that you put only 2 stars as a pieces donor, when you even put in good things that it gives pieces such as the tire tractor, the shock absorber, the differential, or even the turntable? ( Yes, no new pieces, but a really good selection of pieces is still here, right? )
It's not an error. Of all the pieces you've mentioned only the tires are relatively new and rare, the rest is very common and dirt cheap. It's an $80 set, it should offer more in terms of pieces than six tires (which are worth about $5 total on Bricklink, anyway).
@@searme aaand as you confirm, the pieces and value ratings are *OFFICIALLY DECLARED* better if switched *folks exulting* and four stars to the look too *folks go raving*
I bought this set I think like a day or two before it was supposed to hit shelves, and I adore it so much. My favorite detail is definitely the chainsaw that is very boldly labeled as a chainsaw
I just got this set a few days ago, but I'm confused how yours came with a blue 2x2 round plate piece as an extra part when that part isn't even on the parts list.
The Chainsaw is just perfect. Now we can finally enter the world of Ultimate Slavic Cooking, with Lego! I'm so on two minds on this set.....I don't care one bit for how it looks, mostly because of the colors used and the stickers. is it really necessary to cover almost every single panel with stickers? But leave them off and it looks like a mess. On Brickset they rebuilt it with just blue instead of all the white and orange, and even without the stickers it just looks so much better. But I do love how many functions they squeezed into such a moderate sized set, this truly is function over form. Which is what Technic should be all about. Forget about that silly McLaren, this is so much better. Too bad again a set without a B-model. And yeah, €80 is a bit steep, but Amazon already has it below €50...and I was already tempted to get one myself :-)
The spare piece photo is wrong. And I like this model. Yes it doesn't have new part or new colour. But it has a lot of fonctions. Suspensions on all axes, steering, 2 differentials, gearbox, winch and tilting cargo bay. That's a lot for a model of its size. And of course, thanks for the review as usual!
Another ugly set...it looks terrible and it s too expensive and no B model...latest technic set are disappointing...in the last 10 years i think there are max 15 interesting sets...
I can't really agree with you, they managed to pack lots of functions here, and it has some good pieces to do your own models... But it's true it's pricey...
Hmm … "bike" is short for "bicycle", and I guess "trike" for "tricycle" What is "quad" short for? "quadrocycle"? Anyway I'd like to just call this one a "sex" hehehe
The white raddish really helped scale wise lol
Thanks Sariel for your review, your opinions are appreciated 👍
Finally, Lego 42139 In-depth Review from Sariel. I been waiting for this review so long~~
Thank you for your patience! More coming soon.
Me too!

This actually tempts me to get one of these, I love 6x6 trucks! 😛

Can't wait to see your take on the B model, bro...🙏🏼☺️👍🏼

Wasnt there the white connector which was only used in the r2d2?

Always the best reviews.
Yes! This is what I wanted to see!
I actually bought this set about a week ago, great play model in my opinion

Sorry, I think I used the wrong photo, these are spares from another set.
Which blue plate are you talking about? Because I also got it 2 days ago. Ohh, I see. Never mind.
I watched your epic review on an ATV
Not while driving, I hope ;)

Genialna recenzja jak zawsze, uwielbiam Twój humor :D

Yes someone already did the motorized version

Did you ever use the stock music heard in the beginning of the speed build? I don't recognise it...
Sure, a couple of times.
Since this is NOT motorized, why all the additional gearing? Cost could have been reduced significantly, I believe, by not using the addition gearing!
To make the drivetrain and transmission work with the piston engine.
This chainsaw really will match warhammer figures :D
That's what I was thinking that they are related to each other. 11:36
For this price, every sticker is one too much
very cool set but prices are getting ridiculous
