Great review BUT... as a proud Ravo owner myself i need to clarify a couple of things. 1) The noise you experienced must be in yr rig somewhere. My ravo is dead silent through PC mic in, or live running through my Peavey amp. 2) Yes the presets are a little sedate until you amp them up and tweak them a little... then they are killer. 3) The Ravo is a weapon once programmed using the digital interface. I can replicate any sound and my current level of guitar-playing satisfaction is at a new level since buying it. Its a robust, versarile, inexpensive, compact little tool that punches well above its weight. In my opinion its superior in most respects to the Korg, Boss and Vox products that I own/ed.
Was still an informative review. I agree with you about the comically small foot-pedal. It works fine but I have size 13 feet! My only gripe is that that you cant click the foot pedal hard down to activate / deactivate. Minor thing though - especially at the Ravo's price point.
Anyone else find that the headphone output is incredibly low even with sony 7506 cans. Also it is a mono only device so limited for recording etc. I found a lot of the overdrives very samey too.
Did you find anything rewarding on this? I like my cheap danelectro pedals over this. I wish I wasn't listening to this with my Bose phones, I didn't want them to catch a sickness from being near that thing. It's too bad because some of those mini hotone pedals sound decent to maybe even good, but definitely should shitcan the whole multi effects thing....at least this time through
Shawn Rurodenm Nope, I thought it was a very over-rated pedal. I can’t really say this in the video though, because all the ppl who bought it will flame me for being honest :) #Gearfacts
Sorry, I was a bit disturb for having a bad day and I did not found another way to told you should lower the volume before recording to avoid clipping. Thanks for your gratitude and patience.
You ARE aware of line level management right? From EVERYTHING I've seen; this and pretty much any other "budget" multi-effects unit produced by either Digitech or Line 6 all suffer the same affliction. The fcatory preset's sound like total ass. HOWEVER...if you spend some time screwing with them, tweaking values, pulling things out, adjusting levels. They all eventually sound killer for what they are. I'll probably buy one next month
Well it's not exactly a mockery... It was gloriously hyped at the time and the point of the video is that it only really lives up to the general standard of the time, it didn't set new standards #gearfacts
The on off switch controls battery and power supply modes but when you plug in the USB it powers up regardless of the switch position. I am surprised you have noise with your as I do not running it through a Fender Princeton or direct to the PC. I tested the noise gate as well and it works almost too good. You do need to fiddle with the value to get it just right. Last, you should review the software that came with it as it is very nice and well done which for me at least is a big plus. However, I just ordered the new Mooer GE200 cause I am like you, love gear good or bad and always like to work with new hardware.

True, my electrics are very noisy here in the apartment, it's been becoming more of a problem.

I think the cabinet sim is off, must the only reason for that sound.
Could be. Jeez I hated this pedal haha! Thanks for watching Gearfacts :)

Can you add more effects to the same patch? Like overdrive + amp +cab.
Yep you sure can :) Gearfacts
Can the expression pedal be used as a wah?
Yeppers

Rp360 looks like the pedal for me.
HAHA, YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO LOWER THE OUTPUT LINE TO AVOID CLIPPING
Your caps lock key is broken

No problem. You're right, the sound is bad. It's an old video, I've fixed those problems now :)

Ooooohhh **cringe** for so many reasons...
I think you need to adjust few things and really get to know the pedal before you just make a mockery of the thing on youtube

Gear Crazy not in this backward little nation :)
Does not sound good.
Agreed. Thanks for watching Gearfacts :)
I'll stick with my cheap zoom pedals that I feel sound pretty good
