Hi Steve. Very creative little pattern you have there. Perhaps using a hook with a longer shank or bigger gap to give more room for the body to be formed. Looks very cool and effective.
Hey Tom, that's a great idea! I agree, a longer or wide gap hook would help keep that gap open "especially for adding bait for ice fishing".. I'll be tying a few more soon! I wanna try a minnow and baby bluegill.
