Three year later and here I am, finally finishing this god forsaken achievement! I don't even know whether I missed the Steam Achievement pop up, or I destroyed some random egg while checking out your vid step by step, but I did it! Thanks a lot

So there are three of us. I searched for the same two hours where this last creature hid. Literally the whole cave was shared ... And then I read this comment and thought of looking at the achievements. 2 hours wasted for nothing, but how fun. Good to all.

p.p.s. Can create a club. Gathering there, "Hello my name is (so-and-so) I searched the same damn eggs for 2 hours until I figured out to see the achievements"

OMG thank you!! I missed 1 in the hatchery and 2 going up that rock at 8:20. Your calm voice also helped with my frustration at getting this achievement lol.

well worth the watch,spent 2 hours looking and the last damn one I needed was in the hatchery under the big colum you mention. like how is it that easy to miss is beyond me but this video is great

Super helpful guide. I had the unlucky bug of the trophy not popping up so I have watched this 3 times lol. Checked after my 3rd full clear and there the trophy was from an hour ago.

Something to point out, I dealt with Mordus beforehand, the dwarves were freed and they started fighting the voidwoken I guess?
The thing is, as I was exploring, I encountered several broken eggs, meaning they were destroyed by the offscreen fighting.
Still got the trophy btw. So even if the eggs have been destroyed already, don't panic, just continue.

My last one was a stupid tiny cluster in the hatchery. It was really dark and barely differed from the fake ones.

Watching this I had to do a double take. I am doing my honor run for the trophy also with 2 lone wolves, also the same classes he is using, also wearing the exact same gear it looks like...it was a bit bizarre not gonna lie lol
I had been scouring the entire place for like an hour looking for the last egg and couldn't figure it out so started following this and double checking as he went and halfway through I found the last one I was missing so thank you so much!
Are you using a guide for your Lone Wolf Honour Mode playthrough?
@@KTKallume yes and no. I am following an honor mode guide from the Steam website but all it does is have a list of recommended quests per level and links to his videos for said quests. But his videos are not sequential in the same order as his list so sometimes he will have something already dealt with that I can't deal with yet at my level. He also does not seem to be playing the definitive edition as the exp rewards are different and he is on PC. So I am mostly using it as a vague guide of what to do at my own pace around more or less my level and discretion. He also uses a 4 man party while I do not. No recommended gear to steal or buy or anything like that either. Hence why I found it amusing to see 2 characters that looked so similar to mine. Elf archer, and even tho it's not visoble cause of helmet, Fane (for the trophy related to undead answers later on) 2h knight and the gear looks like what I am wearing right now. I guess it helps with lone wolf duos that since you don't have to gear an entire party your resources can go to getting the best gear you can buy/steal so it may end up being the same or very close anyway. Still amusing. Felt very Truman Show for a second

@@KTKallume thanks. I'll give it a look. Although even if I were to pick that up now I wouldn't be following step by step either since like I said I'm already in deep lol maybe for a other run after this, I wanna do Lohse's trophy next run =)
@@KTKallume I was leafing through it and its scary how similar it is to the builds I am running. Only difference is I did not recruit Sebille, I used a second controller to custom create a second character for better control of skills and abilities and the dome of protection on at least one character. I miss out on her personal quest but dome of protection I feel is a lot more useful to have
I followed this guide to the letter and got it done, had to reload a save game after I learned of it so thankfully everything in the cave was already dead, lol

I did this achievement recently but steam didn’t pop up for me. After scouring the entire cave and putting down maps I decided to destroy every egg on bloodmoon island too. Took me 2 1/2 hours for everything just for nothing to pop up until after I close steam 🤦♂️

I think you missed 2 eggs in your vid, but once I got those I got the achievement! Thank you!
Edit: they were passed the fast travel point, I might have taken a different route from you.
The route isn't perfect, hence the walkthrough. Any other issues encountered? Hopefully you were able to get your achievement/trophy.
@@KTKallume No other issues! It's funny though, you mentioned that past the travel point there were no other combat-related eggs, but I actually encountered two eggs and a voidwoken right on the edge of that part of the map. It doesn't show on your map, though, strange.
@@noraphelan5598 if the eggs could trigger combat (Vicious Eggs), I didn't show them in this guide. psnprofiles.com/trophy/8003-divinity-original-sin-2/28-technical-eggstacy - gives a written guide with coordinates of everything.

Idk if it will make sense for you, but if it will, I was trying to do this achievement for several hours, doing exactly the same things like in this video. But I couldnt succeed, I was even reloading the whole cave, respawning all enemies and eggs once again and again. The last thing before I was given up, was the idea to destroy the eggs without any aoe effect on my crossbow (my crossbow had additional fire damage). And, Idk if it was the main purpose why I was failing, but it worked. Probably, if u destroy a few eggs at one shot, it doesnt count (my crossbow was afflicting fire bursts and cursed flame, bcz blood out of the eggs cursed too, and couple of eggs was destroyed simultaneously by the explosion). In addition, I can tell, that one of the voidwalkers casted aoe dmg on my heroes and destroyed 2 eggs, but I got achievement anyway.

The worst thing about this achievement is how the fucking walls have eggs textures on them, so sometimes you'll back track to an area thinking "oh there are some eggs i missed" and find out it's the just the fucking wall, fucking stupid worst design in the game

so you need to destroy the vicious eggs where the little crawlers spawn before they spawn so that you can get the achievement?
I don't believe so, no. So long as the egg gets destroyed (or hatches) that should count too.
@@KTKallume true doesnt matter how they get destroyed, i had some normal eggs missing through the camera angle i couldnt find them but thanks for the guide
Have backtracked trice with the help of your video. I got all the eggs including the ones you didnt show. but the trophy wont pop, cant reload on honourmode, fuck me right :P

Any chance you missed a Vicious Egg somewhere? That's a bit of a long shot as it is hard to miss those red dots on your map.
@@KTKallume nope pretty much cleared the whole wreckers cave place, spent approximately 3-4 hours in that cave. I checked the whole map but im missing an egg and i have earthquaked places where eggs were possibly at. Is it because pc version is different from ps4 version?

Nope. I was able to get my trophy/achievement in the cove only.
@KTKallume huh, well that achievement description is frustrating. I spent hours combing Mordus's lair and bloodmoon Island for every egg because it said all the eggs in reapers coast :( oh well. Thank you for the video!
