This will be my first RUclips comment ever, just to say thank you. I used your classes way back to learn both Sketch & Illustrator when I got my first job in a design studio, and I've found out years later that you've now got a course for Webflow too, which is something our agency is hoping to tap into. Choosing you again is a no brainer. Thanks Dan.
Thank you to all BYOL team and the Boss... Aways a blessing and a plus watching your tutorial... Am becoming a member soon as fast the money land in my account. Am from 🇳🇬 I Love you all
Hi Dan. You are an amazing teacher. Thank you for using the creative and coder sides of your brain together to guide people through what can be difficult functions and steps. You're kindness and lighthearted humor put people at ease at the same time that you are teaching principles and elements that should be followed. Thank you again!
YO DAN!! I have bought and completed almost all the courses that you have offered - photoshop, after effects, illustrator and now this. Just what I was looking for. Thanks for the great content. Love your work and humor. Warm Regards.
My first task after building my website: a Hyperlink to Dan, saying thanks to this amazing tutorial i did make my own website! Thanks a lot Dan you are Amazing spreading knowledge to this World
You improve my life. One of these days I am going to get you subsciption even if I don not need it. Just because you helped me a lot on the journey... I am forevery greatful to you sir.
So helpful! I am a graphic designer by trade but those skills go out the window when faced with so many choices! Two rules I work by are never sit with a client while you are designing and two, don’t give me so many choices!
Thank you very much Dan for this free course. 🙏❤️ I'll continue learning this on byol website after I finish this on RUclips. Hopefully I could get my 1st job as a uiux designer 🙂🙏🙏🙏
it helping me to learn about webflow you are my teacher and all the thing that i have learn from your vidio and also helping me in doing practic and learning skills tanks you so much
Great work sir. My advice for fellows as a developer can be just have a small course in best practices in web development which will make a great difference in these webflow website and you become different from the competitors. That will make you more competitive.
Hey Daniel, as someone who had to learn WordPress for my job to build a Website for the Company I work for, would you recommend to learn Webflow as well? The only reason I consider learning it now is because of you. I learned Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects from you on skillshare and got a great job because of that. You're a great teacher so i value your opinion on the matter. Thanks in advance. Wishing you all the best!
Excellent Video I will be signing up to the full course very in depth not like other videos I have watched Thank you so much I really enjoyed it and love the projects.
After reading all the comments here, I think I should stick by and learn, with good to become a webflow pro. I really need to gain this skills and start making money
LOVE YOU DUDE first started with you about a year ago was still in confusion BUT ITS NOW STARTING TO MAKE SENSE you gave me a tool to start loving & expressing that love for life Time to make the WORLD feel that LOVE
Watched the first 15 minutes and already hooked, will follow this course today! Coming from Elementor which I absolutely did not enjoy, it kept me from focusing on my job; designing
Hi Dan. I've just discovered your online courses and I love your style and easy going humour. You make it easy to understand and an enjoyable experience. Plus, as a Kiwi myself, it's great to hear a NZ accent on a tutorial site! There is one question I hope you can resolve for me. My only experience of Webflow so far has been in buying a template and using it to create a website for one of my clients. In this template, the page hierarchy is: Body > Section > Container > Grid / Div / Heading / Text / Image etc. In your tutorial, you use: Body > Container > Section > etc. Does it make any difference if the Sections go into the Container or if the Containers go into the Sections? Or is it just a case of personal preference?
Hello, thank you very much for your work! I'm watching your tutorials, everything is clear and understandable. I just couldn't find how to rotate a specific object (not in 3D or 2D, but, for example, rotate by 100°). Does Webflow have this function?
I'm just starting to work on my portfolio, and although I have been a Wix user for a couple of years, I have always wanted to learn Webflow! Thank you for creating this for free. I wanted to know what is the different between this 4 hour long video vs the one on Udemy? What more will I learn there that isn't taught here? Again, thank you always for creating the best content for all of us
My goal is to learn a lot of needed skills for the job I will do: being creative and maybe one time can work as a freelancer to have more time with my family!
Hi ! thanks a bunch for this one. I couldn't find information about arranging and aligning photos with the text. Like if put text in section and I add padding to make space on right size for an image, but I am unable to fit a photo there, Any advice ? :)
Hello Dan, I'm using your courses to polish my skills in Figma and Webflow. I wanted to know whether you have plans to update your Webflow course on Udemy? It is my next purchase since I am currently taking your Figma essentials course.
Just to comment this here again. at 40 mins when you talk about sections and containers, my belief it's that "generally" it's other way around. First a section and then container. See how they explain it here ruclips.net/video/KGg5cIjHQiw/видео.html&ab_channel=Webflow. Example of this: you want a background color to that part of the page. If the container is the parent element, the background color is cutting short in width, which we don't usually want. Thoughts? My way of working is always sections first, and as they are called sections, they give the entire page the main structure and architecture of elements.
I'm a bit torn whether to learn Webflow or learn Dreamweaver. I'm currently using Squarespace but it's a bit limiting, and they want you to upgrade to be able to get advanced features. Webflow could solve that but is also a subscription. Would I be better off using a WYSISYG editor like Dreamweaver and then paying a smaller amount to host the website? I feel like I've answered my own question but, what do you think?
when i drag my button no text appear on it the text is transparent i tried to change its color but nothing happend then i removed its background color then text become visible why its not working with background color
Yes this is how I've learned it and how they teach for example here. ruclips.net/video/KGg5cIjHQiw/видео.html&ab_channel=Webflow Also wanted to ask for a clarify or just clarify, my thought is that if a section of a page has a background color but the parent element is a container, then the background colour would not be 100 % which is usually not what we want. So I see it as section and container inside of it.
hi I have a question Does the webflow membership feature only support regular subscriptions? I wonder if there will be any payment for specific content. Because it is a non-English speaking country, there are limitations and problems with interpretation.
Hi my name is Patricia Jung. I have enrolled in your full coarse. I know you did not cover sliders in your coarse, but I tried to put a slider in my project. Can you help me fix the slider as it is not behaving properly and is show a blank background and toggling back and forth. Please advise me on how to fix it. I can upload a video of my project...just tell me where you would like me to upload it.

God bless you sir
Why you dont use rem and vw?
Webflow is so hard. Harder the JavaScript. WOW!
In webflow university they teach that first is the section and inside it the container, what benefits are there if we do it your way?
That’s basically all web design. Sections, containers, dividers, CSS
