The mission of God's people requires that they proclaim the message of the two witnesses, a message both sweet for those who submit, and bitter for those who resist.
I'm only half way through this and I've got to stop and comment. I've seen most of these truths line upon line over the space of 45 years, I've never in those 45 years heard a teacher of the word lay this out as fully and clearly as you have here Bruce. I really appreciate your doing this.
@Bruce Gore Mr. Bruce it hit me solidly when you said the word temple is sanctuary. The legacy standard bible has it translated that way. At no time in history has anybody worshipped in the sanctuary. The only person to be let in was the high priest. So that means this absolutely has to be symbolic in Revelation 11!
This is much more sound teaching than believing in literal, future, fire-breathing prophets in a great tribulation as pretrib dispies teach. Postmill partial preterism is definitely the way to go. Thank you, Bruce. 👍🏼
You have a wonderful course you are teaching. I plan on listening to all of them. I wish I had your knowledge and energy. You make it very interesting.
Ive been listening to your Biblical messages and history of old testament Israel and I have found them to be very insightful and full of wisdom so I will share this with you. I am not a wise and prudent Theologian. But when I was not yet 12 I had been called and chosen to receive salvation from CHRIST back in August of 1987. I had climbed up in a tree to pray a little closer to Heaven a few hours before my baptism. I was out on a limb and I said,"GOD I want to go to Heaven now." Then I fell out of the tree in the backyard into the front yard but the palm of my right hand got cut on the fence that separated the two. My mom gave me a latex glove to wear and I went and got baptized just a little bloody and bruised. Then after that my Infantry/Intel Professor of Military Science Major dad took me to Ft.Jackson to the E.R. so I could get stitches. The scar on the palm of my right hand still makes a little cross to this day. Then back in 2000 I had a very close encounter with the only living GOD. I became an eyewitness of Immortal CHRIST Glorified standing upon a cloud or a vessel cloaked in a cloud with Immortal Elijah standing at HIS Right Hand and Immortal Moses standing at HIS Left Hand. I personally do not believe that Elijah and Moses would have to enter back into sinful flesh and die having already been made Immortal in the image of CHRIST. But the Holy SPIRIT does bear witness that the Law,the Prophets, the MESSIAH, & the Second Spiritual Death are in agreement that the time for the evil one to be bound for 1000 years as the two witnesses (of one body in the original Greek much like the HOLY SPIRIT & John the Baptist at the end of old testament times) descend before they ascend does approach and the angel of the first physical death is the last enemy to be defeated. Sadly in America though there is no place for someone like me in the mother of harlots or her many anti new covenant Kingdoms on earth apostate cultural christian outlaws nonkingdom gentile doctrines of men protestant denominational divisions churches of gone back in ones that are unworthy to be brides of the Great KING. For they are in adultery with a post Christendom secular humanist enlightenment democratic republic made in the image of pre-Christian ancient pagan Greco-Roman political religions now of unpayable national monetary and sin debts outside of the New Covenant for they love the ways of great falling away from the Kingdom on earth as they chase after the collective democratic wills of their own sinful natures. Inconclusion the Book of the Revelation of the KING of kings shows foreshadowing and cycles that increase like birth pangs as they culminate in the whole earth being purified even as a Lake of Fire after the Millennial Reign and prior to the Eternal State renewal of all things. The good news is just as the Gospel of CHRIST can cause individuals to be born again so to the Gospel of the Kingdom can cause lost, dead, and decaying nations to be made into new creations as well. So pray the LORD'S pray even,"Thy Kingdom come to America. Thy will be done in the New World as it is in Heaven" And Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand!!!Love the HOLY SPIRIT and Jason the Baptist of the Bible Belt a New Covenant friend of the GROOM CHRIST.Yes and Amen..P.S. The Law & the Prophets were the main two witnesses of the old covenant but CHRIST Faithful and True who is ETERNAL LIFE and the Second Spiritual Death are to witnesses as well even in the last of the last days of new testament times.
I’m thankful yet sorrowful at the same time. I feel very blessed to understand but lonely because I know rejection awaits for sharing this revelation within my circle. Pray for me please
Proceed with gentleness and humility, and remember, the truth of any accurate teaching of the Bible is finally self-authenticating, so trust God to make the case in peoples' hearts.
Wow. What great revelation and exposition of God's Word. Mr Gore, your teaching is like the sweet waters of Marah turned sweet when Moses threw a tree (symbolic of the Cross of course) into the bitter waters that could not be drunk. The vast majority of so called teaching today resembles those bitter waters, so disappointing. So take encouragement, you are feeding so many in a time of great famine if hearing the Word. Thank you so so much. A brother in Christ Jesus.
Jesus IS Lord. He came into the world before the world and the world knew Him not. 2000 years later, He is making His return as the Times of the Gentiles is almost complete. Joy to those with His Holy spirit, WOE to those who know Him not. It's better to not know at all then to know and leave. If you go out FROM us, You never were OF US, and blaspheme God. To "know" Jesus by His Holy spirit and THEN sin against Him in His spirit IN your flesh IS the unpardonable sin! Never temp the Lord MY God. You will be humbled. Never blaspheme His Holy Holy Holy name, or die in your iniquities in THIS life, AND the next. "The fear of God IS the beginning of wisdom" But you cant love what you fear. I know God, HE is MY Father, AND my Lord. He came to ME, and I love Him, as I know Him and I do not fear what I understand. He came to ME. He is here, He is always watching. God bless.
I hold to Rv 1:19, were John is told specificly to write down the things he has seen (Johns past), and the things that are (Johns presente), and the things that would happen after that (Johns future), and this is said before the seven letters. Só its no surprise to vision a great part of the book as referencing the writers and listeners, past and presente occurances. As in all of God's word its aplication is both presente and future and its the future referencing and aplication that i struggle with in this book. Thanks you BG and God bless.
Hello Alexandre Miguel, I hope this comment finds you well. I had the same questions about Revelation 1:19 until I dug into the original Greek to the phrase “things which will take place…” Here are my notes on this phrase. THE THINGS WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE AFTER THESE THINGS: Some have gone on to teach that “the things which you have seen” and “the things which are” are those things that were occurring in John’s day during the time of the seven churches. But to contrast that, these people also teach that “the things which will take place” have not happened even until our day (21st century) and are to occur at some point in the so-called future tribulation. This is a classic example of reading into the text something that is actually not there, but assumed and with that assumption present it in such a way as if to deny it is to deny truth. The futurist begins with a false premise then builds their entire eschatological system on that false premise. Allow me to debunk this idea that “the things which will take place” is not something to occur in the far and distant future from the time of the writing of Revelation but we’re to SOON take place, and this is based on simply examining the Greek word used here. The things which will take place in Greek, μελλει γινεσθαι (mellei genesthai) and it is literally translated “are about to take place.” The Greek word μέλλω (mellō) is something soon to occur. Let us examine how this word is used in the New Testament Matthew 17:22 NASB And while they were gathering together in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is going (μέλλω) to be delivered into the hands of men; Matthew 20:17 NASB As Jesus was about (μέλλω) to go up to Jerusalem, He took the twelve disciples aside by themselves, and on the way He said to them, Matthew 20:22 NASB But Jesus answered, “You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about (μέλλω) to drink?” They said to Him, “We are able.” Does it sound like any of these occurrences are separated by an undetermined amount of time? Absolutely not. As we can see μέλλω (mellō) is something to occur in a short timeframe. This verb is the present active indicative which tells us that this is an action that is presently occurring in real time and is not a future prediction. Now beware, there are some who try to quote 2 Peter 3:8 and will try to reason that the book of Revelation is from God and therefore timing is relative and because a day to God is like a thousand years. In order to pull the reins back a bit, stay within the book of Revelation and ask yourself (or the person you are conversing with), to whom is the book of Revelation written? Answer, the seven churches of Asia Minor. Unless you are dealing with a Historicist or an Idealist (who allegorize the book of Revelation beyond recognition) then the evidence actually sides with the Preterist if we show them that this letter was written to real churches, with real people under tribulation and persecution at the time of Nero. The reason why so many cannot see the book of Revelation as being fulfilled in the past is because they have been conditioned their whole lives to believe it’s something to occur in the future. Such a position first of all devalues the Christians of the century and the persecution they went through as something irrelevant but it also places us at the center of the book which is fitting for the narcissistic climate of our day.
I have been waiting for the two witnesses explanation... I always thought it had to be the law and the prophets ... you are making it so clear, looking forward to next week Blessings to you and your family. Ani from Australia
This is such good teaching I’m really enjoying this series in revelation I was wondering @bruce gore is there any material in book form I could get on this subject?
Yes, I also ask, is this in print? If not yet, are there plans to do so? I have forwarded these lessons to friends at my church (Flagstaff Christian Fellowship), and posting also upon Facebook.
look what i got a few days ago John the revelator is one of the two witnesses!!! This is good news. When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! - Jhn 19:26 KJV 2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him. - Jhn 20:2 KJV 7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt [his] fisher's coat [unto him], (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea. ... 20 Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? - Jhn 21:7, 20 KJV Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what [is that] to thee? follow thou me. Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what [is that] to thee? This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true. - Jhn 21:20-24 he is a faithful and true witness and was there at the beginning he might have been the first true believer to be an overcomer. And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. - Jhn 21:25 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. - Jhn 21:25 John is the manchild the disciple that Jesus loved. A parable of the two witnesses is the donkeys who brought Jesus into Jerusalem. A mother and a colt [Zec 9:9 KJV] 9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he [is] just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. Gifts John got from God. A reed, a scroll, an open door to heaven, friendship with the heavenly host, friend of God, the white stone with 7 eyes, gift of giving out new names, gift of writing psalms, songs, stories and proverbs, gifts of the Spirit like discernment, healing, witty inventions, multiplying supplies, prophecy and all kinds of other good gifts, The fire from his mouth is the Holy Spirit tongues of fire. Both witnesses are filled with the Spirit and have overflowing lamps, they speak in tongues of men and angels and they want you to do it too. [Rev 11:1 KJV] 1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. [Rev 10:8-10 KJV] 8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go [and] take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth. 9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take [it], and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. 10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
Around 13:45, you use the phrase "kingdom of priests". AFAICT there are two mutually exclusive camps: "kingdom of priests" and "kings and priests". (Other variants also like "kingdom, priests" but this is still the former camp IMO). One example is Rev 5:10 but there are several others I believe. Are you of the mind it is *not* kings and priests and always kingdom of priests? Or do you see the image we are turning into as being like Melchizedek who was explicitly defined as both king and priest to God most high?
Hello Pastor Bruce, I’m thoroughly enjoying this series but I have a couple of questions. 1) Why do the 2 witnesses have to die for 3 days and then be risen by God on the clouds? How does this make sense metaphorically? Either way, wonderful job brother Bruce, I will never be the same again! ❤
@@juanesparza3810 The testimony of the two witnesses, the Law and the Prophets, dies as the Christian witness departs. However, the two witnesses are fully vindicated in the event of judgment that later befell Jerusalem.
I am still confused on this one. Who were the two witnesses? Were they real, historical people, or is it all figurative here? Edit: Nvm. Got it. But I still don’t understand what it means that the beast killed them?
The 'two witnesses' against Jerusalem were their own scriptures, the law and the prophets, symbolized by Moses (law) and Elijah (prophets). The voice of the witnesses came through the Jewish Christians who lived in Jerusalem in its last generation, and who knew the Old Testament very well, and who proclaimed it in Jerusalem with great faithfulness.
Some look at this and claim that the speaker is a "false teacher". It is possible that some of what he teaches is false. We may never know! But nothing of what he teaches steers believers from faith in Christ, or living out the Christian life. Let's suppose his take on this particular subject is wrong. How would it have diminished a believers faith? Every legitimate preacher of the word admits that they're not SURE about each and every single viewpoint. But if they surely don't lead believers from the core teachings of the faith, does that make them a false teacher. To me, as I understand it, a false teacher is one who intentionally or unintentionally leads someone from faith in Christ. As a Christian who has always held to a futuristic perspective on Revelations, too many things didn't add up, essentially creating unnecessary confusion for me. I find this way of looking at Revelations to be exceedingly more helpful.
Could it refer to Ananus ben ananus and joshua ben gamal during the jewish roman war. One of them was the governer and the other was the priest high They were against the zealots and they fight againt them and was trying to avoid the war against the roman and they by killed by the zealots and idumens. Josphus mentioned, if they didn't die, therr would be a great chance to save the city
Amazing! I find myself so blessed having this opportunity to listen to your teaching even though I can’t be geographically. Thank you so much for continuing in making your teaching available this way. Greetings from Norway.
By failing to proclaim the truth of the living God to the world, Jerusalem was effectively giving the world an intoxicant, depriving the world of the sober truth of a holy God. The church does the same thing when it buckles to the cultural pressure to call evil good, and good evil.
@@GoreBruce .....thanks....when I see the word sorcery ( pharmakia) it referred to drugs. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I'm reading Revelation and listening to your videos, there are some great insight you provide
I can understand John the Baptist as One of the witnesses; But How is Moses One of the witnesses? When did Moses prophecy in those Days of the Apostles?
@@GoreBruce I'm curious in the "measuring of the temple" have u reasoned how or if possible John is pointing to imagery taken frm Daniel 5:KJV? And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. Belshazzar and crew are partying w/ the temple furniture and utensils etc. Thx!
I was good with this until the pastor got down to where the two witnesses are. They are not Moses and Elijah. John himself defines, who or what the lampstands are in the last verse of chapter 1. The lampstands are the churches. The churches are personified. They also represent the menorah which gives light to the world, the two olive trees, or the wild branch and the native branch, which make up the body of Christ who is the line, the root. The church gives its testimony of Christ, but when their mission is complete, I believe the church is outlawed/forbidden/crushed at this point. It’s dead for the next 3 ½ years when suddenly life is Gid breathed back into it, and this is where it is taken up into heaven to escape the wrath. I may be wrong… but this is my divine inspired belief.
I saw this post to my RUclips feed and stayed up to listen. It was a very solid case for the Preterist view, but very narrow in prophetic fulfillment. I think chapter 11 is the most difficult to interpret. BG kind of mixes the Preterist frame and the Idealist/spiritual frame. The 1260 days are the amount of time Rome sieged Jerusalem (66-70), yet they symbolize the 40 year inter-testament time. The identifying of the two Witnesses as Moses and Elijah, but also Zerubbabel and Joshua, but also the apostolic witnessing church, who died at the hands of Nero and sinful Judaism, but then you said they left as warned. Did they die or did they leave from the warning which allowed the city to go dark? Finally, I get the feeling that by cramming every verse, chapter and book into the 66-70AD experience is like driving the water of a fire hose thru a straw. The 66AD motif has to be manufactured because this Preterist frame won't allow interpretation past 70AD. Nero , per Tacitus, was said to start persecuting in 64AD and he died in 68AD. It is questioned if Nero persecuted outside the area of Rome. If John had the vision in 66AD, how long did it take him to write it down and distribute it? If Nero was already persecuting, then John didn't prophecy, he was recording history...this make Revelations null to a sceptic, like the higher critics do Daniel concerning Antiochus 4. And if Rev is really about Jerusalem being judged, and repeated in 5 of the 7 cycles, then why send the letter to Rome and warn the Christians, who were already being persecuted? In fact, Why send it to Jerusalem? The messianic believers already had Matt 24, maybe Mark 13 in verbal if not written form and they fled to Pella in 66 AD, likely before Rev is written. This Preterist interpretation makes Revelation a symbolic history book, not a prophecy. What is being predicted to the future in chapter 11?
I just wanted to say that most Preterist have believed other theories but because of deep study have come to that conclusion. You need to listen to all of Bruce Gore's other teaching such as Olivet Discourse plus all Revelation teachings prior to this message. I would be interested to know what theory you follow?
Everything going on right now in the world is only what already exists in the hearts of those people involved. They concern themselves with earthly and materialistic and flesh reasons and they dont have their eyes toward the skies, the riots, murders, rapes, drugs....all there because it's in the hearts of those involved. This is just the beginning of the times of sorrows. Never in History have we experienced so many things all indicative of the times. Plagues, pestilences, riots, and the sea is in dismay. Nation against nation, kingdom against kingdom (within the nations multiple kingdoms reside and live in) and no leadership. No leadership unless you know who Jesus Christ really is and what Jesus is today. The great falling away is happening. The pope is trying to unify religion, which in itself is the works of satan. Bible preaches FAITH, not works. Faith is of the heart, THEN one can do "works" . Read your bible people. If you cant see just how accurate and valid it is, I advise you to read. Be blessed, Thanks preacher, You are a big part of opening my eyes.

God always performs and perfects His purposes and promises. He is Faithful and True, He has exalted His word above all His name, so none of His word will go back to Him void! He is God All by Himself, as some would say! All glory and praises to His Holy name! Amen! Galatians 4:29-30! It's always been like this right from the beginning, right from the garden, then Genesis chapters 6,14:17-24; 21:9-10- Jacob and Esau; Pharez and Zerah; Pharaoh/Moses; David/Absalom; Jezebel, Athaliah, Haman, Herod, Hitler, Antichrist/false prophet. This has to play out till the end for all to know, without a shadow of doubt, that God rules in the midst of the heathen, the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell in them, and that He is Lord of all!
"And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth." A bit cryptic , if you ask me. Not that anyone did, of course. Even so, why didn't the lord just give a straight answer? And why is the lord referring to himself in the third person, if he is also "the Lord of the whole earth"? Isn't that a way of referring to Satan, on occasion, the "lord of the earth"?
Thank you so much, Mr. Gore! God’s Word through you is such a blessing. I know lots of folks probably give their take on this passage. I don’t think my studies conflict with yours, but I think there is even a deeper view of the Two Menorahs and the Two Olive Trees. Would love to share my thoughts with you, if you consent.
The reed was given to Jesus at the cross.Jesus Christ the messuring Judge of the people on earth. The two witnesses was Jesus and John the babtist both were filled with the SPIRIT OF GOD and was the only two who was send by God to proclaim the Kingdom of God on earth without Jesus and Johns witness all through the SPIRIT OF GOD there would be no Church on earth.(John 8 v 18) 2 John 5 v 6,7 and 8 ) Rev 1v 5 ) Jesus Ministry lasted 3 and a half years.(The fourty two months) The two Olive trees is symbolic for the OT and the NT Church because its the Root (Jesus Christ ) that carry the branches. The two Lampstands is symbolic for the seven lamps upon it which reprecent the SEVEN SPIRITS OF GOD that inlightens the Church. John 5 v 33,34 )JESUS SAID I DO NOT ACCEPT THE TESTOMONY OF A PERSON.Moses and Elijah were people just like us.Amen.
I don't see the need for the two to be literal individuals given the sign symbolism of virtually everything else. I grew up with the Enoch / Elijah teaching "because they didn't die" but the Bible definitely does not teach that is what's going on here
i just got this John the revelator is one of the two witnesses!!! Gifts John got from God.
1Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. 5But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. 6Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 7Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. 8Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. 9Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. 10Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. 11Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. 12Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. 13There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Elijah is without question one of the two. Who is the other? NOT MOSES! Deu 34:5 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. Deu 34:6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day. Heb 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. Heb 11:23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment. Heb 11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: Heb 11:40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. Would anyone argue that it is appointed unto Moses to die TWICE? Clearly he is dead. He would have to be resurrected (again after Christ's resurrection) in order to die and be resurrected again. Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto (the) men once to die, but after this the judgment: Clearly Moses is not in order to be the second witness. We must always stay with the Word of the Lord. Clearly Moses died according to the Word. 1Co 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. If Moses is to be resurrected AT HIS COMING then it is not possible for him to witness for 3.5 years prior. Believe the WORD above anyone's opinion.
@@KlintonSilvey Nope I believe what God said. He said He would give power to His two witnesses who will witness the truth of the gospel one last time to people like you who scoff before He crushes Satan under His feet.
Unfortunately Bruce, as much as I have been enjoying soo much of your church history, and philosophy courses, your preterist views of history and the prophecies, and the inevitably eschewed expectation of our Lord's return are a big blow to your credibility on scriptural interpretation. If you can't let scripture speak for itself on these major points without imposing your own "interpretation of history, maybe, hopefully", then how are we to trust that there is authority in ANY of your hermaneutic? What we have here is allegory run amuck, or an improper hermaneutic. An example of this would be John MacArthur. He has an entire Study Bible after his name (you would hope he is good on interpretation and understanding) yet he believes that the gifts of God through the Holy Spirit that Jesus "purchased" at the cross and "ascended on high" to give (and gave gifts to men) were "just for the Apostles" because of the coming "canon of scripture". Examples of "childish", "personal" understanding of the scriptures. (not by the Spirit who "leads us into ALL truth").
I would say what I would say to Jonathan Edwards..."stick to what you know...Revelation? Don't go there". History and philosophy...that's your game Bruce. Unfortunately, your history and your escatology are like the Reeces peanut butter cups, you got too much of your chocolate in the peanut butter. Eschatology is not your game. Let literal interpretation protect you from yourself. In love, but frank for the mature, not easily offended.
I'm only half way through this and I've got to stop and comment. I've seen most of these truths line upon line over the space of 45 years, I've never in those 45 years heard a teacher of the word lay this out as fully and clearly as you have here Bruce. I really appreciate your doing this.
I appreciate that very much. Thank you!
Please watch my 4 short videos and take the time to read all the comments i posted there. It will be worth it.
Thank you!
Thanking the LORD for your teaching, Mr. Gore. Finding "The Apocalypse in Space and Time" is an answered prayer, a life changing blessing. Thank you!

Thank you Pastor Bruce. ☺️🙏
Thank you very much for the valuable message on the book of Revelation sir.
I deeply appreciate your very kind and generous encouragement, my friend. Thank you!
Excellent commentary!
Thank you, Brother Bruce. Our hearts are so moved by this beautiful teaching!

"The fear of God IS the beginning of wisdom"
But you cant love what you fear.
I know God, HE is MY Father, AND my Lord. He came to ME, and I love Him, as I know Him and I do not fear what I understand. He came to ME.
He is here, He is always watching. God bless.
Thank you for this Bruce ! Praise The Lord !

Hello Alexandre Miguel,
I hope this comment finds you well. I had the same questions about Revelation 1:19 until I dug into the original Greek to the phrase “things which will take place…” Here are my notes on this phrase.
THE THINGS WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE AFTER THESE THINGS:
Some have gone on to teach that “the things which you have seen” and “the things which are” are those things that were occurring in John’s day during the time of the seven churches.
Let us examine how this word is used in the New Testament
Matthew 17:22 NASB
And while they were gathering together in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is going (μέλλω) to be delivered into the hands of men;
Matthew 20:17 NASB
As Jesus was about (μέλλω) to go up to Jerusalem, He took the twelve disciples aside by themselves, and on the way He said to them,
Matthew 20:22 NASB
But Jesus answered, “You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about (μέλλω) to drink?” They said to Him, “We are able.”
Does it sound like any of these occurrences are separated by an undetermined amount of time?
Thanx Bruce.
I think that the Book of Revelation has a duality to it.
I have been waiting for the two witnesses explanation... I always thought it had to be the law and the prophets ... you are making it so clear, looking forward to next week
Blessings to you and your family.

One of them was the governer and the other was the priest high
They were against the zealots and they fight againt them and was trying to avoid the war against the roman and they by killed by the zealots and idumens.

Ok.. Same now, when it says babylon deceive the world with its sorceries how has jerusalem deceive the nations in that time with sorceries
By failing to proclaim the truth of the living God to the world, Jerusalem was effectively giving the world an intoxicant, depriving the world of the sober truth of a holy God. The church does the same thing when it buckles to the cultural pressure to call evil good, and good evil.

You are so right Daniel.
So moses died see Deuteronomy and Jude. Why not enoch?

John the revelator is one of the two witnesses!!! This is good news.
When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! - Jhn 19:26 KJV

Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what [is that] to thee? follow thou me.

A parable of the two witnesses is the donkeys who brought Jesus into Jerusalem. A mother and a colt
[Zec 9:9 KJV] 9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he [is] just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
Gifts John got from God.
A reed, a scroll, an open door to heaven, friendship with the heavenly host, friend of God, the white stone with 7 eyes, gift of giving out new names, gift of writing psalms, songs, stories and proverbs, gifts of the Spirit like discernment, healing, witty inventions, multiplying supplies, prophecy and all kinds of other good gifts,
The fire from his mouth is the Holy Spirit tongues of fire.

Joshua, the high priest (Religious), from the tribe of Levi, descendant of Kohath and Zadok- 1 Chronicles 6:12-15; End-time Ministers of God: Ezekiel 44:15-16...Zechariah 3:1; Jeremiah 33:21; Revelation 11:4; Numbers 25-7-13
Zerubbabel, the governor (not king, though the descendant of king David, but the promises to David will be fulfilled in the end, to always have a Seed in the throne. 2:Samuel 7:16; Jeremiah 30:9), the last seed of David, born in babylonian captivity, Ezra:3:2; Matthew1:12; 1 Chronicles 3:17; Nehemiah12:1; Hagai 12:1; 1 Chronicles3:17-19; (Political) Zechariah 4; given power over the religious and political powers during the tribulation to show the supremacy of God in heaven and in the earth, thus no physical power can hurt them, they are the anointed of God, for the end time!. Zechariah chapters 3 and 4. They signifed the end of law and the beginning of the promise of coming grace, through faith, in the coming Messiah, and also heralded the advent of the Messiah, Zechariah 14, and the conclusion of the world system, and the establishment of the Millennium reign and the final judgment, and the new heaven and earth- Isaiah 65, Revelation chapters 19-21; Isaiah 66:24; Lastly- the rewards Revelation 22.
The Lord never leaves any thing hanging. The two books of Ezra and Nehemiah were the only ones not concluded, as the 70th week year will continue from where they stopped and the book was shut in Daniel 12:4.
Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth."
A bit cryptic , if you ask me.
Please feel free to send your thoughts to bruce@brucegore.com. Thanks!
MANIFOLD PROPHECY!!!! EYES,
The reed was given to Jesus at the cross.Jesus Christ the messuring Judge of the people on earth.
I would say the Witnesses could be Enoch and Elijah.
Yes, some certainly take that view!
This is good news.

The explanation of the two witnesses is preposterous. A perfect example of cascading error through commentaries.
Heb 11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
Heb 11:40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
Would anyone argue that it is appointed unto Moses to die TWICE? Clearly he is dead. He would have to be resurrected (again after Christ's resurrection) in order to die and be resurrected again.
Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto (the) men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Clearly Moses is not in order to be the second witness.
He doesn't mean literally the men will be standing there. "Moses" is synonymous with the Law
@@KlintonSilvey He ALWAYS means what He said. You might not believe Him. Examine yourself not Him.

They are called the signed gifts. And they WERE specifically given to the Apostles …😊
A lot of imagination not based on the Scriptures...
Lier you already heared the news
Well, he could always use the latest newspaper headlines from Israel like most others. Is that a better "scripture" to use?
Kinda of a humorous post given that everything he teaches comes from the Bible 😂
Right, so there will be an actual animal with 7 heads that physically crawls out of the sea.
OK, well let's take it literally Mr. Bible scholar. 🙄
One can NEVER have too much chocolate in their peanut butter IMHO
