The smoke on start up is valve stem seals.

being parts so difficult to find it would make sense to remove engine block from tractor. it is imperative to wash block thoughouly like with with hot soapy water after honing cylinders. and also measuring after buying pistons and rings? that might be sure proof if replacing piston liners..

The engine, after some break in time, it needs to work reasonably hard and the blue smoke will go away the black smoke shows it is working hard and the governor is set right.

Why did you do that ? Did not see any video on a VALVE JOB . NEW BEARINGS are not that hard to find . Reusing old craped out bearings is not the CORRECT way to do it !! nothing but sadness will happen . Sticky clutch ? Rear seal is leaking oil . Thanks

I didn’t make this video to upset you. I’ll bet this engine will run for years after this. I hope you enjoyed the video.

Hey , 😁Thats ok ..You do you.. I do me. Its just that I have OCD Clasic tractor fever. When its not a factory correct repair it makes me ask why bother ? Yes I enjoyed the video and OCD night sweats after watching . Thanks for replying @@beesprojects2692
