I play this course almost once a week, if I’m lucky sometimes twice. I’m glad one of the big RUclips golfers finally have featured this course. Holes 5, 6, 9, and 16 are definitely some of my favorite holes. You didn’t show the streams you cross with the golf carts on holes 13 and leaving 15. Also forgot to mention they include two hand towels in each golf cart. That has to bump up the cart rating. If you’re ever in the area visiting again, it would be a privilege to play this course with you.
@@__A_J__ I could see that being an issue. Fortunately for myself, I would always have a priority to play here over regular individuals and even hotel guests. So I’m not too worried about price or priority. I’m blessed to have the opportunity to play here as frequently as I want.
I love all of your videos, keep up with the good content and the personal POV style. You should visit Golf venues in Canada there is a lot to see and enjoy!
Try this one. Evermore resort in Orlando, FL. 1100 acres. 8 acre pool. Two courses. Links and parkland style. The links was design by Nicklaus. 1 and 18 are replica of St. Andrews. It is beautiful.
That looks like an amazing golf course. Wish I can play it one day. Oh the leather on the golf cart, is ostrich leather, some of the more expensive leather there is, that golf cart rating is a 11 out of ten for me.
You sir are a smart man! What better than getting invited to the nicest courses and resorts throughout the country?? Nothing. I volunteer to accompany you if you ever need a second opinion on any of these places 😊.
Looks like you made your video when the Nixon fire was burning in Anza up in the mountains nearby. My wife and I lived in Temecula for years, went to the casino many times, and I played Pechanga once. Great course, magnificent casino Regarding your complaint about the cart brake pedal, I think that is because some of the golf paths are VERY steep, and the locking brake pedal is more secure than the pedal that you just depress to stop.
One place you have to go is the Saddlebrook resort in Tampa, Florida. Specifically the Palmer course. I was unable to go to any of the practice areas so it was check in at the pro shop, and head straight to the first tee. Best part is it’s a public course too, just a little expensive.
I live 40 mins away I will tell you if you spend a week in western New York we have soooooo many underrated top golf courses in this area pga level courses highly recommend turning stone had great courses good food and a good casino you’ll enjoy it
Matt we met about 3 years ago at Encino Balboa. I live in LA and I am a +1 hdcp. I just played chambers Bay, PURE track. Lets link up for a round anywhere in the country on me.
Played a couple of times. It me time in a downpour, only people on the course. Smoked weed in the huts, didn’t litter. Great course, too bad the price has gotten so high.
The huts remind me of Native American smudge huts. Indigenous peoples believe that the smoke from the burning herbs can purify the physical space, objects, and individuals by dispelling negative energies, thoughts, and emotions. It is believed to cleanse the body, mind, and spirit, promoting balance and harmony.
absolute Monument to Globohomo Decadence. I liked this guy better when he was playing "America's Worst Golf Courses", all monuments to a Great America that once was.
Journey has always been one of my all time favorites.....great job lighting it up on the back nine!!
You played a heck of a round. Very impressive. Thanks for your content. I really enjoy it.

Love your travel Vlogs, Matt. They're my favorite of the content you put out.

agreed... my sister lives down the street from Evermore, she sends me pics of it, looks amazing, can't wait to check it out!
Wow right down the street from me. Like I could walk there. glad to see it get great coverage
I love watching your video I love golf and I've learned a lot just watching you thanks
Swanky, I love it. Reminds me of M resort off the Vegas strip. Good on ya for living it up a bit.
When in NorCal Sacramento area. Must play Yoche Dehe at Cache Creek Casino. Best course in the area!!!
Very nice course..Temecula has grow up in the past 50 years from a stop over to Big Time...
That looks like an amazing golf course. Wish I can play it one day. Oh the leather on the golf cart, is ostrich leather, some of the more expensive leather there is, that golf cart rating is a 11 out of ten for me.
Matt! Your putting is so good, wow!
Those little dots on the seat, are ostrich quills lol 😂
Those "burs" on the cart seats are actually really really nice Ostrich leather. Found a lost in premium western wear such as boots.

Great course/content. The $20 inc tip drink is ridiculous, but if you have it, why not.
Great course and facilities. Regarding the range balls being Taylormade, gotta know the Taylormade factory is nearby in Carlsbad about an hour away.

Better courses in Tampa
Journey is without question one of So Cal's best course to play. That said, my #1 is Rams Hill. Hope you get to play it as well.
Next time in Western Pennsylvania, try nemacolin resort, home of the 84 lumber classic in the 80s, beautiful resort
I agree this resort course looks like fun to play.
Another great video. Wild fire at the 24 minute mark, looks like a volcano?
Great review of a great course! Great round of golf too! Do you ever miss anything inside 8 feet?!
That place looks awesome! I think those huts are called 'Wigwams' Keep the content coming!!
Congrat's Matt , great score , big hello from N Ireland
Played this one many times... one of my favorite of all time. Difficult.
Sorry Matt work has gotten in the way, I now have time to catch up on your amazing channel
Place is defo worthy of the high rating..$4 tip spot on, loving the course reviews and great round!👌
Try Ironbridge Golf In Glenwood Springs...last 4 holes will blow your mind
One of my favorite in SD! Toss up between Maderas and Journey.
That place should be called The Journey at Chaching! Show me the money!
Come to Kansas and enjoy our concrete sand!
Driving range Mats are at absolute minimum a 50% deduction.
I would love to see you do the Championship Package at Turning Stone in NY. Myself and my boys are thinking doing it next season.
Love your channel.

Very solid on trying the oyster shooter. Quail eggs are not for everyone.
I really like this channel or whatever you call these😅
Try rocky gap. It’s the same type but in the east cost mountains
Looks amazing
Ostrich leather on those seats? Super premium!
Wow, looks fabulous.
Hi Matt
Do you have any plans to review the Tiger Woods par 3 course and restaurant in Las Vegas?
That place seems amazing
Food looks amazing, makiing me hungry
Seats look like Ostrich leather? Very nice!
The only oysters I like are northeast .New England sea food is the absolute bomb.
Matt, when were you there? I been wanting to go but not sure how hot it gets
At 24:06 it looks like a friggin VOLCANO in the back ground.... whats that about?
Playing in the Wind is always fun..
Can you mention the state the coarse’s you visit.
I'm not much of a seafood person, but that looked delicious.
Good playing.
You should play pearl valley golf course in South Africa
It's good but I've played it a dozen times. It's certainly good but the area (IE) doesn't have a lot of a great golf so the bar isn't terribly high.
I saw you guys in the casino! Let's play Oak Quarry
Dont say it , dont say it, dont say it....oh no!! he said it!!
Great stretch of holes Matt. Looks like a rippa of a course!!

Bro. How long were you in San Diego. Pretty sure those seats are supposed to be Ostrich skin
Is that a wildfire or volcano erupting or what?? 24:04
Pauba Wildfire in Temecula
My double transfusion at Bali Hai was like $46
those dots on the seat are ostrich leather.
Dude are you still in cali!? Let’s play!!
Where is it? It would help to not have to look it up.
Great video once again but oysters? 🤢🤮 lol
You can see a fire in the background at 24 min
Well played and great video 👍
Yeah, I would need transfusion, of money at $16 a drink. I don't drink. What a rip off, great review though.
Thanks.

The flags are tall or Matt is short or both
No way to give an 8.8 driving range hitting on mats.
$20 drink? Yeah, that's fun.
Pechanga is nice, but it's definitely not the #1 ranked golf resort in America
Glad golf etiquette doesn’t allow raw fish on the course.
$16 drink? I just give her a twenty (and I remember that I'm at a resort and budgeted for overpriced fun)
Damn, $16 for one drink..they make it that so you do give $20 and, to look good in front of your friends, tip the 4 bucks.
I prefer my fish cooked 😂
Pe-Chang-Uh
Always curious how all these youtube golfers get solo tee times?? or do they pay for 4 tee times lol?
$20.00 no question
you have to go to treetops resort in northern michigan
6 Bucks
You give her 20 and forget about it. Especially since you are paying nothing for this whole thing. lol
….she did make you a double. Seems fair.
absolute Monument to Globohomo Decadence. I liked this guy better when he was playing "America's Worst Golf Courses", all monuments to a Great America that once was.
Number 1 ranked? Not even close
California...fart sound on that
400k .. I’ll Be back at 1M. Like I said back at 20k
Is no one going to mention the 10 foot tall flag pole on hole 6 😂
We all know why it is there, so don't need to mention it.
The “burs” are to look like ostrich skin
Hand her a $20 and move on.
They have guys walking around in golf shorts, tee-shirts and baseball caps.
I guess that you had to sell all of your good clothes.
Can you please center your audio? Very distracting to us headphone users when the audio is only in one ear. Thanks!
That’s a you problem. I’m wearing AirPods and they’re fine
Me me me me me. Deal with it bro. Be thankful for what you get.
My audio is bluetoothed into my hearing aids, and I hear through both ears . Sound like it's your problem, Bubba
The sound is great, not sure what cheap headphones you got bro.
Im guesing this is an indian reserve and they dont pay taxes like other resorts so more money to spend.
$210 tee fee $20 drinks ⛳️🏌🏻😅
