actually mixing Tamia putty and Tamia cement and then applying it to the surface of the armour gives you a very nice authentic looking texture. There are a lot of techniques in historical tank modeling which I discovered and would recommend to use (for instance refer to Night Shift's channel).
Amazing video, great work, it's something I would definitely consider mimicking, for my own centerpiece. I hope your video gets tons of views, cause WOW. Do Abaddon next!!
That's incredible! Can't do any 3D printing myself (can't justify ther expense but more importantly no where to do it, can't see a damp attic being conducive to printing and that's the only sapce I would have, anyway...) great to see what can be achieved, really like how you shmushed all those rocks together to make the base, that's pretty cool.
@@thehammerofwrath Thank you, pleasure to watch and relaxed feel. As a few others have asked, we'd love to see some more Japan content, with or without the hobby side. I was out there a while and it was tcg for me at the time. Anyway, glad to be here, thank you for the reply. Looking forward to whatever is next.
Is there any chance of the files being released? I've been printing for about a year but just got into painting my prints this month, and this project looks awesome and fun to paint.
@@thehammerofwrath I found them shortly after asking. Also seems like someone has posted a base that is closer to the Weta base as well, not as good as the original or yours but much simpler and cheaper so there's that.
can you add links to cults and the models please matey? I would love to make this myself. If Cults is a sponor then they may like links in the description?
Your 40K stuff is amazing! Have you done any Age of Sigmar? Could be an interesting few videos of doing the spearheads? Maybe patrons could vote on 3 then you're not spending loads on a system you don't play/ collect. Would love to see your painting of the beautiful models
They are considerably more manageable since the patch a few weeks ago and I've completed them all on ruthless-- but still not as fun to kill as the tyranids!
@thehammerofwrath i will pay 300 dollars for a title just like space marine two but playing as nids. Genuinely an amazing game, and you're definitely right, fighting the nids is much more fun
simply blown away with how much easier life is going to become now that i learned these new tips with the 3D modeling software lol
Digital kitbashing is where it's at!
probably my favorite out of all of your amazing videos so far! i loved every minute of it. please keep up the great work 👍👍👍
Thank you! Will do!
Oh yes, the "big-iature" returns! Another banger and another reason to stay tuned - nice work 🎉
I seem to bang one of these out a year... here's to more in the future!
Just had your channel pop up in my feed, really digging your style on these videos. The full breakdown of your conversions is inspiring.
Thanks! Glad you found us!
Ha! Nice! I lack the skills, time, printer and everything else. So I just ordered the WETA. But amazing job!
I'd LOVE to have the WETA one. It's amazing!
Your Good Value Titus turned out great! Love the wooden plinth with a 'base topper' idea too!
That is the best ultramarine blue I've ever seen. I definitely need to paint my Ultramarines like that lol. Amazing paint job ❤❤
Glad youre still making content! Still love your explanations and painting style!
holy hell my guy, you should be Really proud of that. You've done a fantasmic job!!!
This video should have 500,000 views by now. fantastic job on Titus and the video presentation and production!
I wish! Thanks for the kind words.

I like the idea of adding some texture. I'm always looking for ways to improve the look of something and I'll give this a shot on my next big model.
Looks amazing! Great job creating and painting the piece.

OMG. can you imagine?!
OMG. can you imagine?!
Allways a pleasure to watch your masterfull work🎉
Thank you so much 😀
Brilliant work, that red paint trick was something really simple but a total game changer for me. Cheers and love from Dubai.
Great painting well done.
The title made me snort heheh great video as always!!
Excellent engineering combined with art
Absolutely cracking work. Looks gorgeous
Thank you! Cheers!
Wonderful work, really enjoyed the whole process

Channel deserves more subscribers. Nice video.

Very well done, glad I stumbled across the channel.
Welcome aboard!

awesome, one to be proud of
You got new friends now space marine! Seems you dont need me anymore...
"get back here, space marine! I'm not done with you yet!"
"But I am done with you, ork."
i would absolutely LOVE if you would show a little bit about living in Japan in general... maybe hobby related... insight of some hobby stores etc. 😊
Phenomenal.
Exceptional work
Many thanks!
Wow! Very nicely done! Think I'd definitely like to get a hold of that model. And find someone to print it for me.
I’m sure i know the answer because of WETA, but it would be amazing if you made this available! I’m sure many of us would purchase it
The base files are free on cults! I just kinda digitally kitbashed them! Search for ex-captain tinitus and semi-posable xeno.

You can find them by searching "Ex-captain tinitus" and "semi-posable xeno"
Amazing work! Looking forward to more content. Any chance you will do more mini statues?
Absolutely. I have a Mcfarlane figure I'm going to convert very soon!

AoS is a can of worms I'm not ready to open yet! (But the models are undeniably cooler than 40K)
Amazingly well done
Not that perfectly like Weta's sculpt or 1:1 scale Titus. But it doable and affordable
Qual material uso pra deixar a resina flexível?
I used Anycubic ABS-like pro2 resin for this print.
To be fair, quality paintjob for 60cm display mini from a reputable painter would run you an easy 1k$
Oh, I definitely think the WETA statue is worth the cost. It's an exceptional piece. I just can't justify the expense right now.
Where can we get those files I need this 😅
They're available on cults for free! Search for ex-captain Tinitus and Semi-posable xeno!
Where do you find the head without helmet? I'm looking for it.
cults 3D. "Old man Titus"
I would use gold and silver leaf instead of paint because paint always looks like paint.
1. That's an amazing idea. 2. the last time I used gold leaf on a woodworking project, I messed it up BIGTIME! :)
What size is this finished model?
25cm base to head.
well, 65$ maybe on materials. Time to print and paintings would inflate the price a lot
Honestly, if I had charged myself my usual hourly rate for design work, it would have been about double the cost of the official statue! :D
Helmet on = Awesome, helmet off = meh :)) Otherwise solid effort!
I'm torn, but the helmet did turn out pretty well!
“You wouldn’t download a statue”
XD
my goodness man. I love your artistic work but jesus christ the chaos missions arent that bad. get good, I do declare!
