      Sean should change his phrasing. He should say, "Please say your name and police identifying number for the record". Then if they say "right here" then he has got them in a lie, unless their name really is "right here". (Cops can legally lie, but they are not supposed to lie about their identity unless they are undercover)

      ​@legrandsommers8854 police only have qualified immunity on municipal and state level, not on a federal level. If the federal government decides to prosecute that immunity goes out the window. That's also the reason corrupt police who are prosecuted only go to federal prison. Alot of people aren't aware of this and that's done intentionally so the general public doesn't know to report corrupt law enforcement to federal agencies to actually be held accountable.

The only federal immunity Leo's have is against CIVIL suits. for example if I sue an officer for a wrongful arrest and injury I would most likely lose and i would have to sue the department they work for to have any chance of winning. If the federal government decides to press CRIMINAL charges on that same leo for that same wrongful arrest and injury that cop will not have any immunity in a federal court room and will be prosecuted like any other civilian...

      A policy is not unlawful in itself. The law that is typically relevant is trespassing.
      Policies that standup to constitutional scrutiny required for the type of public forum in question can legally be enforced via trespassing laws.

      @@9767shane I agree that they should be. But my concern is that people seem to be regularly of the opinion that policies can't be and argue that enforcing policies is unlawful.
      It's perfectly legal to enforce a policy that stands up to constitutional scrutiny and isn't plainly illegal due to local law.
      Sean's own preliminary injunction win against the NYPD highlights this quite well. His first amendment arguments being rejected, whilst he was granted the injunction because it was against NY state law.

WILL care what the reason for two prior dismissals were. Especially given he's now on video admitting he is aware of the fact twice the court has said.       There's a bit more to this one from memory. The previously dismissed charges were for a more serious trespass statute. Really they went for a higher charge than what the evidence provided for and hence it was facially insufficient.
