Funny how modest & resourceful the unskilled Jack-of-all-everything is, isn't it? 😊
Our friend amazes us.
Trawling charity shops for proper wood furniture. Got a Queen Anne style occasional table for £15.
No more IKEA MDF crap for me. Hobbies keep the mind alive. Don't forget that! ;)
The Unskilled Furniture Renovator Strikes Again! The old guy who had The Japanese Farmhouse had some good stuff (along with tons of junk). Great job! 🧡
Nicely done. I’m impressed with how many useful skills you’ve acquired; it seems you know a bit about everything.
Apply some Bee's Wax to the underside of each drawer for smooth usage.
It's always great to see another project ata the Old Japanese Farm House.
It looks perfect as always, I think the unskilled labourer should be getting a promotion to mildly/slightly skilled labourer ha ha ha :) Hopefully in a few years time we can revisit the desk and try paint stripping and finally get to see that beautiful wood with a nice stain or gloss! :D
The ever giving house :)
The stuff I love doing! Perfect marks.
I have a Ryobi (TTI) cordless nail gun and it’s one of my favorite tools. Cordless is great, though a bit dangerous as you easily get addicted and start going around the house nailing everything in sight.
Pneumatic nail guns and staplers sure are nice aren't they. It's also amazing how many nails and staples you can use even when you are trying to conserve them.

Well done!
I've been doing a bit of painting myself. Decided to convert one of my dad's sheds into a den to sit out in during the summer heat. I went with an off-white all in one paint that has turned out to be more of a greyish white than a traditional slightly yellow off-white, but I don't hate it. Just gotta do one more coat on the back and left side and that'll be it for the painting part of the conversion.
Fun, isn't it!
Very nice job.
Niiiice! Thanks channel.
that looks nice!
The white is definitely better
NOooo! covering wood with paint is a savage choice. I get it, it wasn't you.
Plot twist: ten years later, the unskilled laborer is tasked with removing the white paint and restores it to it’s natural state with a clear finish.
Where did you get the paint?
The little princess is growing up fast. Already needing a desk to study and do homework. The white is a bit too bland for my taste as well but as long as the VIP customer is happy, that's all that counts.
Begs the question. Does she have a chair to go with it, or is that an unskilled job in the process for the next video?
Apparently a "gamer chair" is important....
@@TheJapanChannelDcom I pray for your wallet in that case as those come in various price brackets I believe.
It's definitely not in the range an unskilled carpenter and unskilled upholsterer could throw together.
I hope she'll have an awesome time in her new room when growing up to become a fine young lady. So all the best to you and her mom on making it happen.
Thanks, mate. Looks like we might have found a satisfactory/acceptable chair for around $100... very painful for the old man!
@TheJapanChannelDcom That sounds about right. That's about the same price bracket as I was expecting them to be in.
As long as the little miss is happy and she doesn't get embarrassed when having friends over. We all know how it is to be kids after all, and nobody wants to be the talk of the classroom gossip in a bad way.
