This was awesome! Please do more- preferably “I Still Wear This Crown” or “Wound”. I live Tara McLeod (Kittie’s main guitarist) and her bluesy style she sometimes incorporates in her solos especially. Much respect!

LOVE the new Kittie album FIRE on Sumerian Records. Granted, this song is the most radio friendly anthemic rock song. I like the more heavy ones like the 1st single "Eyes Wide Open" or the 3rd single "Vultures". The 2nd single "We are Shadows" and the 5th single "Fire" are also great!

@@no_onein2024 I haven’t listened to the whole record yet. I’ve heard mostly positive stuff about it though. I saw Kittie several times between their first two albums and they showed immense growth just between those releases. Thanks for watching, maybe I’ll do videos for some of their other new tunes!

@@elemenohpenc Oh wow, I've never seen them live, they were just down here in S. FL a few months ago and I couldn't go :/
Here are some reviews about the new album:
      Louder Metal Hammer review:
“A supremely assured return from a band who are intent on creating something fresh, new and exciting. This Kittie still has claws.” They gave it 4 out of 5.
      Kerrang! Review:
“Former nu-metal stars Kittie break a lengthy silence with hard-hitting, volume-set-to-kill seventh album…The core of this album is straight relentless metal, sometimes melodic but mostly powering through with sinew and vim….While its not an album that’s doing anything new or shocking, Fire does put Kittie back on the metal map, and reminds us that there’s more to them than they first got credit for.” They gave it 3 out of 5.
      Metal Insider review:
“Fire is a triumphant return for the Lander sisters and longtime guitarist Tara McLeod and bassist Ivy Jenkins….This is a band re-ignited, refreshed, and fully resurrected. Fire is a near-perfect record, not only for the old-school fans who’ve waited over a decade for this but for a younger, hungrier generation of metalheads. Despite the state of metal in 2024, Kittie doesn’t buck to any trend- this record is simultaneously heavy, accessible, and uncompromisingly Kittie.”
      Cryptic Rock review:
“What you have with Fire is a foundation of interesting guitar riffs, song structures that do not overwhelm you just for the sake of doing so, and a mix of harsh and clean vocals that get the balance right…Dark and alluring, the band recapture the magic of their unique blend of styles that unify Alternative Rock with Thrash, Gothic and Death Metal…Fire reclaims them their rightful crown! That is why Cryptic Rock applaud their efforts, giving this comeback album 4.5 out of 5 stars.”
